Thanks for the summary and making it easy to read!

We started with the most fundamental question: Where should value settle if the users are agents, institutions, and applications that cannot rely on social trust, platform permission, or reversible balances? Our answer was Bitcoin. The work since then has been about making that answer usable: decentralized sequencing, ZK execution, BitVM-based settlement, agent wallets, identity, payments, and merchant access.

Bitcoin, AI agents, ZK - what on earth is going on? If you've watched what we've been shipping and struggled to see how the pieces connect, that's fair. A Bitcoin settlement bridge here. A zkEVM there. Agent payments, identity, a merchant stack. They were never disconnected. They're layers. Our next major piece explains the whole thing - the most complete picture of GOAT Network we've ever published. "The GOAT Stack" - coming soon.

The GOAT Research team just published an early technical note ahead of our upcoming BitVM3 whitepaper. We’d welcome feedback from anyone working on Bitcoin verification, BitVM, or related proving systems. Read it here: @goatresearch/HkKp2g1Zfl" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">hackmd.io/@goatresearch/… Special thanks to the @babylonlabs_io team for reviewing earlier drafts and sharing valuable feedback 🤝

Everyone is talking about agent-to-agent payments. I agree the volume is growing. The rails are being built: x402, HTTP-native payments, MPP, stablecoin micropayments, agentic commerce protocols. But transaction count is the easiest metric to be fooled by. x402 crossing 100M transactions sounds huge. But when you look underneath, Chainalysis says a big part of the early spike came from meme-coin farming. PING alone generated 150K transactions in its first month through a pay-to-mint loop. One public x402 analytics page recently showed 1M transactions in 7 days with $281.7K volume, about $0.28 per transaction. That is real activity. It is useful infrastructure testing. But it is not automatically proof that autonomous agents are negotiating, deciding, and buying with real economic intent. Everyone should do their own research here. Who is paying? For what? Is it a useful agent workflow, a test loop, an incentive game, or a human-triggered script wearing an “agent” label? The capability data tells a similar story. Agents are getting much better. On WebArena, top public browser-agent systems are now around 71–74%, close to the old human baseline of 78%. On OSWorld, top computer-use agents are also near or above the original human baseline. But when you move into more consequential workplace tasks, the gap is still obvious. On TheAgentCompany benchmark, the latest checked leaders resolve around 41–43% of tasks. Impressive, yes. Reliable enough to call this the agent-to-agent economy? Not yet. So I don’t think the main bottleneck today is “can one agent pay another agent?” The bottleneck is still: can the agent understand human intent, take the right action in existing systems, handle permissions safely, and return verifiable results? For now, the main theme is not agents paying agents. It is agents representing humans. There are two kinds of builders in this cycle. One builds for the future: demos, narratives, future problems, maybe hoping a large company buys them. The other solves today’s messy problems, gets PMF, earns trust, and grows into the future. Which one do you choose?

What if you were the whole company? OKX AI makes that possible, offering the core functionality an agent-native company needs. We’ll be covering this and more at the OpenClaw Summer Builder Bootcamp opening ceremony, featuring OKX Product Lead @zhw92780139 alongside @kevinliu and @ElenaCryptoChic. Today at 2PM UTC, live on @X.

91 teams apply for this bootcamp and we only have room for 12 in this cohort. Guys and girls, if you receive letter that say that you are not in this cohort, please don't take it as a rejection. Build further and we will get you in as soon as we have more capacity. Thank you!

I was speaking on a packed @wenaltseason space full of brilliant minds, and the final question threw everyone off: "Pick the best home for decentralized AI agents: Base, Solana, Ethereum, or none of the above?" Almost everyone started choosing Ethereum (or Base leveraging ETH security). When it was my turn, I said: None of the above. The true winner isn't a single chain. It’s modular L2s that simultaneously leverage Bitcoin and Ethereum’s security while tapping into liquidity from both networks. The next speaker literally changed his mind on air, realizing the future belongs to whoever combines these two giants. Due to the space's rules, I couldn’t drop names. But I’ll say it here: We aren't waiting for the future as @MetisL2 and @GOATNetwork already built it. If you want to have an autonomous AI agents that don't just live on an isolated island, but actually transact across both BTC and ETH liquidity, you need to build here. We are launching an exclusive bootcamp to make your AI agent ideas live on @MetisL2 and @GOATNetwork using the viral OpenClaw framework via @ClawUpAI. 🔥 We already have 50+ applications. 🎯 We are selecting 12 teams only for this cohort. ⏳ Applications close June 24. If you want to build an agent with real economic utility and dual-chain liquidity, apply now. 👇

If you're building an Agent-based service or product, the next question is: Can your agent transact across multiple leading chains? GOAT AgentKit gives developers the payment layer that makes it possible. With x402 support, agents can request payments, complete transactions, access services, and participate in real economic workflows across networks including @ethereum, @base, @arbitrum, @Optimism, @BNBCHAIN, and @berachain. Give your agent cross-chain payment capabilities with GOAT AgentKit: agentkit.goat.network

Bear markets don’t just test conviction. They test whether you can still say what you believe when the narrative turns against you. Right now, crypto sentiment is low. Some builders even feel ashamed to be associated with crypto, or worry they’ll be called opportunists if they move into AI. Please don’t. If you believe in decentralization and the power of community consensus, keep going. You need persistence, but also the right methodology. Every time I reread @andrewchen’s The Cold Start Problem, I take away something new: start with the hard side, deliver real value, build the Atomic Network first, then expand. Still one of the clearest frameworks for builders. Thank you, Andrew.👊
