Having multiple assistants that can throw BP is literally program changing. Nothing is more frustrating as a hitter working on something or trying to get locked in to play & you’re getting 50% strikes or all cutters. (My favorite BP thrower ever though is my dad. Sorry guys🤣.)

In pro ball 1 guy doesn’t throw every single ball in BP. Top arm gets the starters in 1-2 groups. So on so fourth.. In college it’s 1 dude who airs it out while the other coaches either have a phantom arm issue, too fat, or just want to sit around the turtle having social hour 🤣
