Black Ops Royale has lowered the barrier to entry for casual players to be on a level playing field with everyone else by removing the need to level meta weapons up. However, the feedback I’ve seen from casual players is that they hate the mode and are leaving in masses. The gameplay itself definitely favors sweatier players, but I want to hear from any of you who consider yourself casual, what do you think of Black Ops Royale / Blackout 2.0? Are your casual friends playing or enjoying the mode? Let me know, I’m tryna see something.

I drop into resurgence quads with randoms a lot. Most of them die quickly, spam the buy station bell constantly and then just leave..leaving you alone against teams of four.
They need to do a timeout system for players than continually leave.

Look at all the replies, there’s a big demand for solos. It won’t hurt having solos and quads. It will hurt when solo players have a shit time playing with randoms and drop the mode before giving it a proper chance

Because this is such a fresh experience, and with many possible directions we could take, we chose to launch with a single mode based on the squad size that has proven to be the most popular across all of our other modes. For now, our focus is on understanding how players feel about the core experience. We've heard the feedback and will continue the dialogue.

One thing holding me back is the overall package. It's a low end chipset underneath and they're only offering two years of OS updates. Committing to five or seven years would give me more confidence

Have you seen the planned Clicks phone yet? I can't imagine that there's much of a market for a secondary/companion device priced at $500 but devoid of the support and expertise of more seasoned OEMs. It's a pretty big leap from snap-on keyboard to QWERTY-equipped smartphone.

Just noticed that in the past 3 months, China has been our 3rd biggest traffic source 🇨🇳. Conversion rate is tiny (same as India) but the volume is big.
I've never seen much interest from China before - do you get much traffic or sales from there?

@problogger It all depends on how much media you are restoring. If you're transferring a lot of images and videos to your new phone, it can take a long time.
I keep all my media on Google photos and just transfer settings and apps to iPhones. Whole process takes minutes.

@LeakerApple I think the criticism is fair, but I think a big reason for this is that he has a fast publishing schedule where he's reviewing a ton of products and/or he is targeting mainstream users that just want a general overview.

Does anyone else feel like MKBHD has fallen off?
His videos genuinely add zero value to the tech community. He basically regurgitates what we already know off the spec sheet and shouts out some arbitrary SOT numbers from his "testing".
It might be because I'm a tech enthusiast and I crave more detail than a surface-level analysis of consumer tech, but other YouTubers like MrWhoseTheBoss, TomTheTechChap, Dave2D etc. all hit the mark and go more in depth with much more effort put into their videos.
And before anyone says "But this is just an unboxing video, he'll release a full review soon", I'm not talking about this video specifically, MKBHD's video quality has fallen off for a while now. He routinely get things wrong like claiming dual speakers on the iPhone Air, or not knowing the difference between Wh and mAh for battery capacity.
And if MKBHD or his team sees this, please don't take this as a cheap shot against you. I just hope you guys learn from the success of other YouTubers and improve your videos.
