Spoke to a fellow Tongan who paid $4,000 to a recruiting service. I looked at his son's tape, shared his strengths, weaknesses, projected college position, & which schools to focus on. Asked him why didn't he reach out to me first & he said, "Pride.” Pride sure is expensive.

How you structure it is key. As a former HC.
1. We practiced at 6am- to keep football kids in their period.I wanted kids lifting for both sports
2. Wrestling only kids lifted with me during athletic period
3. Football kids, I made sure to have them in weight classes 160- 285

There’s a long-standing narrative that football players lose size and strength if they wrestle. @yjmcknight data says otherwise. Football players who wrestled this winter returned to spring football and tested extremely well. Take advantage of this. Learn from the best.
