RIP Legend: Jimmy Buffet Passes Away at 76 - Friday night the singer/songwriter passed away. - Famous for many songs, including his hit, 'Margaritaville,' Buffett was set to release a new album later this year. - According to a statement by his family, “Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs.” - His cause of death is not disclosed, but he did post on social media recently about health issues. - Buffett was known for his charity work and philanthropy. He regularly donated to 'Singing for Change,' 'The Wounded Warrior project,' and 'Save the Manatee Club'. I recall growing up and listening to his music in my parents boat every weekend. I always felt laid back and chill. RIP Jimmy Buffett (1946-2023)
