@BohuslavskaKate Ukraine joining EU and NATO was red line. EU ref rejected with Vanukovych ousted. Euromaidan protests. War in Donbas since 2014. Yugoslav war. NATO. Former Soviet States have joined EU entity which has existed since collapse of Soviet Union. Expansion

SNYDER: Ukraine is not member of NATO, but Ukraine is doing all of the work of NATO right now only with its own armed forces.
Ukraine is basically fulfilling the entire mission of NATO, with help of course, but not with anybody else's soldiers.
We've essentially gotten used to the idea, all the countries in the region have now gotten used to Ukraine defending them.
And if Ukraine loses the war, then Russian aggression towards not just Baltic states but Poland and Romania becomes quite possible.
And if we take that for granted, if we let Ukraine down, if Ukraine were actually to lose this war, then Russia would digest important economic gains, territorial gains, technological gains, and sadly also demographic gains, which would make it qualitatively greater threat to Romania.
And Russian victory in Ukraine would also be, if not a death blow, then certainly a very heavy blow to NATO itself, leaving Romania much more likely to be isolated when it's facing Russia, which, I don't have to tell you, has historically not been a great situation for Romania.

@BohuslavskaKate Putin hates NATO simply because it's a threat to his dreams of Russian expansion. If Russia took Ukraine it would become a greater threat to NATO. No country the size of Russia needs a "buffer zone." Do they have a buffer zone with Finland, Estonia, or Latvia? No

@CochraneBill @BohuslavskaKate Tsarist Russia, Soviet era Russia and post 1990 Russia are all the same Russia?
Tell me more, the $10,000.00 in history books I own must all be wrong!

@BohuslavskaKate You mentioned: "Ukraine is basically fulfilling the entire mission of NATO, with help of course, but not with anybody else's soldiers."
How do you feel about forced conscription of soldiers by the tens of thousands to support the war?
NATO war and Ukrainian blood?

Gabbard Declassifies Documents Alleging Fauci Funded Wuhan Gain-of-Function Research
Last updated 6 hours ago
Outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released documents on June 18 alleging Dr. Anthony Fauci directed millions in U.S. funds to risky gain-of-function research at China's Wuhan Institute of Virology and worked with officials to downplay the lab-leak theory for COVID-19's origins. The files, from a yearlong review including whistleblower accounts and emails, show Fauci influencing assessments toward a natural origin and contradicting his 2024 congressional testimony. Gabbard thanked President Trump for the opportunity and referred retaliation claims against lab-leak proponents to the IC Inspector General, amid reactions praising her actions and calls from Sen. Rand Paul for prosecution despite Biden's prior pardon of Fauci.

Warren Farrell, Ph.D. (psychologist and author, former board member of NOW)
His 1993 book The Myth of Male Power: Why Men Are the Disposable Sex is one of the most direct treatments. Farrell argues that men are socialized from boyhood to see their worth in terms of sacrifice—dying in war, working dangerous jobs, or providing—while society protects women and children. He highlights male-only conscription/draft registration as a prime example of disposability (if any other demographic were singled out for potential death based on birth characteristics, it would be called discrimination). He contrasts this with the narrative of universal male power.en.wikipedia.org

Arms contractors directly "gifting" Boris 1 million in the middle of all of this.
Yes, Christopher Harborne is officially described as a passionate opponent of the Russian regime. In a signed letter, Boris Johnson explicitly characterized him as such. Harborne's business dealings also heavily align with supporting Ukraine's defense infrastructure. The primary indicators of his stance include:Official Characterization: Following their joint trip to Kyiv in September 2023, Boris Johnson wrote a letter stating that Harborne is a "passionate opponent of the Putin regime" and noted there is no evidence suggesting he supports the Russian government.Defense Investments: Harborne is the single largest shareholder in QinetiQ, a major British defense technology firm. QinetiQ manufactures advanced drone systems, battlefield sensors, and bomb-disposal robots that are directly supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to aid their war effort.Direct Engagement: Leaked itineraries from The Guardian show that Harborne traveled with Johnson to Ukraine on a private jet. He was registered as an "advisor" to the Office of Boris Johnson and attended high-level solidarity meetings with local officials like the mayor of Lviv. While Harborne's financial motivations face intense scrutiny from investigative journalists regarding military contracts, his actions and political associations position him firmly on the pro-Ukraine side of the conflic

@KevinSc95230446 @BohuslavskaKate “Boris Johnson scuttled the peace deal” is such a tired line.

MACRON: Americans tried to negotiate with Russia. What was the result of those efforts? Nothing.
We Europeans also tried to negotiate with Russia. What happened? Nothing.
Zelenskyy also said, "I’m ready to negotiate with Russia." What did Putin say? "No."
So, President Trump, just like all the G7 members, agreed that Russia has shown no serious willingness to engage in peace negotiations.
We all agreed to increase our support for Ukraine. We all stated that we would increase pressure on Russia, and we all agreed to remain steadfast on this path.
This represents real change compared to the last few months, not just from Europe, but from all G7 members and all those who support Ukraine.

@MarbleDuck @BohuslavskaKate Ukraine was not a NATO state and there was never such a legal commitment.
Ukraine never had the votes to join NATO as well.
Not forming at minimum a subcommittee wthin NATO to address Russian grievances was also a huge mistake.

@KevinSc95230446 @BohuslavskaKate Do you know anything about Butcha? Maybe this is the point why they stopped the meetings. Just a hint.

Russia is not winning this war.
And Ukraine is now stronger on the battlefield.
Today, with EU leaders, we will discuss how to further increase pressure on the Kremlin and push it towards negotiations.
The swift adoption of our 21st package of sanctions will be an important step in that direction.

@kajakallas Victory never happens. Every war since ww2 had ended with simple destruction and death.
There was no "victory" for the west in Korea, the communists got complete control of vietnam after 2 million+ dead, the US and NATO went to war in Iraq and spent 100's of billion dollars.

@SteveHartigan10 @vonderleyen The Ukraine/Russia war is like 2 men playing poker and cutting fingers off when they lose a hand.
And it is the normal good people that suffer.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 A 9/11 style of attack on Moscow by Ukraine. The Ukrainians seem so desperate, all irrelevant attacks with no significance to the frontlines. Meanwhile Zelensky tours Europe to tell them how much he can terror attack Russian cities, but no statement of winning on the front.
English

@eduardo_wessin @BohuslavskaKate Could this war be a tool to simply eliminate Russian and Ukrainian Slavic men by the millions?
The American real estate team of Witcoff and Kuchner need to go back to selling high end homes.
Bring in some true diplomats.
William Burns should lead the American side.
