@decoded_dev @gnukeith Accepted answer, muscular movements down the tract. So in short: not gravity, but biology makes it happen. Like you can drink upside-down on earth (use a straw, I suggest).

@gnukeith It's not a stupid question. A lot of educated people think this too. Food is passed through by muscles contracting and relaxing similar to squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. It's how 'things' are pushed through the small intestines too.

Stupid question, is there gravity inside the body because like how are they able to swallow stuff?
