@Kevin_Root It is a tip. They all pool meaning everyone gets a share of the tip. If you thought your server was exceptional, you can tip just them extra. But the service charge is a tip and the servers get their share of it. You dont need to tip extra

@Kevin_Root @miller6824 @Nallysmom That service charge is in place of tip, but they spread it across the servers, kitchen staff, etc wages. They have to clarify it is not an optional gratuity to be able to do that. If you want to leave an additional tip for an above and beyond server, you can do that.

3 kids in school. One kid at home. I work from home. I expect budget will go up in summer with all kids home.
Very limited eating out.
We don’t have to “keep up” with anyone. Just live within our means.
