@texasrunnerDFW @sunny051488 Pro tip- if you are getting paid influencers pushing digital currencies in your feed telling you “NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY”; Now is NOT the time to buy.
English

@sunny051488 Wonder what all the people who were so mad 7 months ago they didn’t buy it under 100k are doing today
Market psychology is so funny
English

@itsjwills @FBuhlersDayOff No the first years of a contract are under a million. He wasn’t coming up until midway through the season. Arbitration years usually escalate slowly. This was a 4 year $$45 million contract to possibly buy out two more years of arbitration.
English

@FBuhlersDayOff It’s a little over $6 million per year. That doesn’t really get you anything in free agency.
English

Hmmmmmmm I don’t really understand this deal. Has Pratt been that lights out??? Also why didn’t they spend this kind of money in free agency?
Bob Nightengale@BNightengale
The Milwaukee Brewers are on the verge of finalizing an 8-year deal for slightly more than $50 million with 21-year prized shortstop prospect Cooper Pratt, who had not played above Class AA until this year. The deal will include two option years for about $15 million a year.

@notgaetti time.com/archive/690974…
Great article on Rick Helling telling Union leaders they need to do something about steroids at the winter meetings in 1998.
Nobody cared. Steroids were not just not punished. They were actively encouraged.
And if you didn’t do them you fell behind.
English

That’s the tragedy of Barry Bonds
He would have been in the pantheon of baseball alongside Ruth, Gehrig, Cobb, Jackie, Clemente, and so on… but he couldn’t help himself.
He put up 100 WAR before PEDs on natural talent, but got outshone by the “chicks dig the longball” era.
The Fight Mecca@ThaFightMecca
@notgaetti Damn shame he tarnished everything you just named
English

@DBGreatness @TheCinesthetic Yeah. I had no idea.
I just want Rickon with a Cannibal Army, Shaggy Dog and Unicorns wreaking havoc in revenge on Westeros.
Instead they shanked him in 30 seconds like they pretty much did to Bran. Only they kept zombi Bran (like Drago) alive to trot out at the end.
English

“and who has a better story than bran the broken?” literally everyone else on the show
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
What single scene ruined an entire movie/franchise/ TV series?
English

@DBGreatness @TheCinesthetic The plan was Rickon.
But Rickon on the show disappears for two seasons then has 30 seconds of screen time before he is killed.
Rickon never goes to Skagos and never takes Winterfell back with his Cannibal and Manderly army riding a Unicorn with David Seaworth as his advisor.
English

@TheCinesthetic Here’s the problem: that was always the plan in the books.
English

@muskymaster1 @JustHxnter @Brewers I was going to say the exact same thing. I have given up on second guessing this front office.
Let them cook and enjoy the show.
English

@NWGAStormDawgwx @bradenkeith @soirchick I love the strategy of 2. This coming from a Brewers fan and William Contreras being wrong on two calls early. The first time he was going to challenge and luckily didn’t. The second time he challenged and was wrong.
It shut him up the rest of the game.
English

@bradenkeith @soirchick They need to have more challenges than 2. The Braves blew theirs in the 1st inning on pitches that meant nothing really.
English

If you’re not a baseball fan you will not know how much we needed the ABS.
It used to be so frustrating to watch umpires completely screw the game up.
Strategy for this is pretty fun. You get 2 chances to be wrong on ABS in a game. Choose wisely.
I also could see where we don’t replace the home plate umpire but make them a common enemy in the stadium. Telling the man he’s wrong is a character in the show we all want to root against. Listen to the crowd in this clip. How fun is that.
Shelfy@RealShelfy
Absolutely electric lmao CB Buckner noticeably annoyed when he tapped the 2nd time only to be wrong again and listen to 40,000 people cheer for his incompetence 😂
English

@TheGiantsFan916 @DonkeyHack @mrBLAZE916 Bonds saw everyone else cheating (Sosa, McGwire) and everyone (fans, media, owners) not only not punishing the perpetrators but everybody was celebrating the active and overt cheating.
At winter meetings there were booths on the benefits of cheating.
So Bonds started to cheat.
English

@DonkeyHack @mrBLAZE916 I'm over the Bonds conversation. We all know he statistically belongs in the hall of fame. But he was an adult who made a choice to cheat. Doesn't matter if he would've been a hall of famer before PED'S. He's a big boy. He made a big boy choice. And it had big boy consequences.🤷🏻♂️
English

@AresalGhul @Lemzy090 By writers that don’t care about source material.
English

@Lemzy090 What really irritates me is that should not have killed him…this should’ve bounced right off his hide but you know….writing.
English

@Memn077 @TheCinesthetic Bill the Butcher was the bad guy???
English

@TheCinesthetic Bill the Butcher. One of the greatest villains of all time
English

@RyanGSpalding @texasrunnerDFW @MarketPalmer_ This makes a lot of sense for what I am seeing. There is a post getting a ton of attention. Then the poster responds to each post with very little thought to it.
I always think it is a bot and regularly block the poster.
It is funny if that is the payout structure.
English

@texasrunnerDFW @MarketPalmer_ It seems beneficial to have a very clear reinforcement structure. It should be stated somewhere. I kind of feel like it should be comments on you post that provide value to the community or something like that. Even if it is complex and subjective they should outline the criteria
English

@Henrynoyes1 @DirtiestMichael @MrBadog @TJLang70 Yeah. The NFL didn’t start when the AFL was added to the league. Nobody discounts Bill Russell’s championships or Joe DiMaggio’s championships. However you mention the beginning championship of a three-peat and people say it doesn’t count.
English

@Kevinmhegemann @DirtiestMichael @MrBadog @TJLang70 Green Bay fan always trying to mention pre Super Bowl championships lol
English

Are Chicago fans trying to diss me? After beating them in 90% of the games I played against them? They win 1 playoff game in 10 years (by luck) and think they are top dogs now? What a weak fan base.
Bears History@ChiBearsHistory
O, it’s on now.
English

@DirtiestMichael @MrBadog @TJLang70 The only reason the Packers don’t have another Championship is because you cut off the criteria at 60 years. If you go back to 61 years it is 5 championships if you go back to 65 years it is 7 championships.
If you go back to the beginning of NFL it is 13. Most in NFL history.
English

@4Awesometweet @FICMBondTrader Nobody that plays football voluntarily quits. Sure there are Barry Sanders out there but for every Barry there are 99 Jerry Rice’s who hang on until someone has to cut the best player to ever play the game.
English

@FICMBondTrader Living in New England when you’re rich and every year your husband says, “just one more year and I’m done” for like five years.
I think he did a lot to destroy the marriage and took her for granted.
He was bored with her and more into his career IMO
English

I said it when tom Brady got cheated on
You have literally top deck on everything, genes, fame, money.
And your girl still hoes out on you
What does this signal to dudes?
KaizerRev@Kaizerrev
Nick Fuentes talks about the biggest White Pill he's ever heard in his life.. Tom Brady's wife cheating on him.
English

@fidifitnessgal @FICMBondTrader Not because of butter with mashed potatoes at steak houses.
English

@Chondrichthyes1 @FantasyWorldW1 I didn’t like the ending of the GOT TV show. However Jamie going back to Cersei after trying the whole series to become better is closer to what made ASOIAF so great.
Realism- the good guy doesn’t always win. The world exists in a shade of grey. Cersei is Jamie’s weakness.
English

@FantasyWorldW1 I see this all the time but Jaime’s character arc is realistic. He was always going to go back to Cersei. She was his sister and first love. That bond is seated extraordinary deep and really can’t be broken.
English

@New12Robert @TheFieldOf68 Pitino does want to go away. He just wants to go away faster.
Having to wait around for an extended time for interviews so the winners can finish up their interviews is kind of a kick in the nuts to the losing team.
English

@TheFieldOf68 Can Rick Pitino please shut the fuck up, answer the questions, and move it along? We don't lecture about what he would do if he was in charge. Nobody cares.
St. John's lost to a better team. Go away now.
English

@StephenFit46698 @OleTimeHardball The last 3 managers to get in are Tony La Russa, Joe Torre and Jim Leyland.
You are arguing McGwire shouldn’t get in but his manager for a large portion of his career was Tony LaRussa. Should LaRussa have gotten in?
English

@Kevinmhegemann @OleTimeHardball Hey Kevin. I don't buy that, giving the three wise men a pass because "everyone was doing it" or "it's the culture at the time". Derek Jeter, and hundreds of players during a 15 year span didn't juice. And what Manager is in the Hall of Fame because his players juiced?
English

@itsjwills Revenue sharing and it is not close.
Although Ohtani in the World Series for the foreseeable future is probably good for baseball.
English

@SamaHoole And the cheese?
It looks like a lot of preservatives and coloring.
I like your content but some of it seems out of sync with healthy living.

McDonald's. 11am on a Thursday.
Me: Can I get four cheeseburgers, extra bacon, no bun, no ketchup, no mustard, no onion, no pickle.
Cashier: So just the patties, cheese, and bacon.
Me: Just the patties, cheese, and bacon.
Cashier: Four of them.
Me: Four of them.
Cashier: [types it in] That comes up as four cheeseburgers with modifications.
Me: Perfect.
Cashier: The bun is included in the price.
Me: That's fine.
Cashier: You're paying for buns you're not getting.
Me: I'm aware.
Cashier: [a pause] Okay.
The bag arrived. Four cardboard boxes, each containing two patties, a slice of cheese, a rash of bacon, sitting in the approximate location where a bun would normally be, surrounded by nothing.
It was perfect.
It was exactly what I asked for.
