Soybean Aphid populations are variable and it is important to scout. This field near Plum City, WI is over threshold and will be sprayed.

And that’s a wrap on today’s #PioneerProvides tour! We donated nearly 50 lbs of cheese and a whole bunch of groceries. Heading out tomorrow afternoon again to pick up some more but it’s time for... CURDS! 🧀 Our cheese monster enjoyed our few side purchases the most...

Now days, a farmer must be more than a farmer. Farmers must be global traders, meteorologists, mechanics and data analysts. Farming is the most complex and rewarding industry on earth. Check out this video to experience Pioneer's refreshed brand! 🇺🇸🌽m.youtube.com/watch?elq=ff1f…

More alfalfa assessment in western Wisconsin. Rotations and field plans are changing as winterkill has caused fields that that had planned to stay in alfalfa to be rotated out to corn.

When assessing alfalfa stand make sure you dig up plants and assess crown health. Taproot should be firm and white. If you can easily squeeze water out the plant, even if there is new green growth, the plant is dead

Alfalfa fields are greening up in western Wisconsin. Spots are showing some winterkill. Now is the time to walk alfalfa fields and do plant counts. Need a minimum of 4-5 plants/ sq. ft. foot on older stands or rotate out. Target 12 plants/ sq. ft. on alfalfa seeded last year
