58 minute half marathon, serving a two year ban, tested in line with policy - tests positive again? It’s surreal now! There is no deterrent for these guys.

@j_ashworth656 The trickle down effect of doping is understated. Shoe contracts, race start lines, qualifying times etc. She should be charged with fraud by misrepresentation. It’s hard to believe any athletics performance now!

The goal was sub 2.50 for my 2nd Marathon in Amsterdam 2024 after Manchester last year 2.55.12, it went to plan thankfully and finished strong with a 2.46.56. Thanks @amsterdam @Marathon_N @RunningMarathon. Brilliant supported marathon. @Kevrunning cheers for the plans.

Another Kenyan popped: Emmaculate Anyango. Road race and cross country expert (ranked #4 in world). Coached by Ken Rotich. Interviewed in March, she explained “I believe talent is universal. It’s not about where you come from. What matters is how you exploit your chances." Looks like we now know what she meant by "exploit your chances".
