Various other issues are raised in CATA’s report, as summarised in this clip ⬇️ One key concern is a document produced by ARHAI which deliberately misrepresented written recommendations from HSE in order to portray a completely different meaning to that which had been intended.

The full module 3 report is over 400 pages long - I will add to this thread as I wade through it.
It’s promising to see the first two chapters relate entirely to ‘Infection Prevention & Control’…
…followed by a chapter on ‘Protecting the Vulnerable’.

Having read #Module3 of the @covidinquiryuk we can honestly say that while it touches on - and indeed is useful evidence - it fails to properly address or provide recommendations for many of the issues facing #keyworkers with #LongCovid. We leave you with this:

Covid isn’t gone. In 2026, it continues to disable and kill people across Scotland. Long Covid affects tens of thousands, while hospitalisations and deaths still occur.
We need better continuous action and targeted care implementations.

Chapter 8, on Long Covid falls short in its recommendations on action to improve the current situation for #LongCovid patients in the U.K. however, we now know that new funding for Long Covid projects seems to have stopped in 2021. This is shocking.

In Section 2, not only do we discover the lack of pandemic supply preparation, we also see that institutional racism and misogyny in design and supply chain left women and BAME healthcare staff especially vulnerable due to lack of suitable PPE @covidinquiryuk #Module3
