@onepercentas They could achieve a similar result, in a far simpler manner, by locking the R2 picks of the bottom 4-5 clubs So the wooden spooner, for example, gets pick 1 and 19 with any shuffling of picks due to FA/bidding not altering pick 19

@1116sen It’s not until R6 we get what would be considered a normal round of football. Not every side plays OR and R2-4 R1 and R5 are full rounds but R1 had 7 games in Victoria but none in WA and SA. R5 is Gather round So 6 weeks into the season before any rhythm can be established
