If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, legal protections, bailouts, and trade protections? and why when citizens need these things, it's socialism?

Voters in Utah and everywhere else have been clear they don't want data centers. If they are being built in your area it's because your local politicians are being paid to ignore what you think.

@BrodieOnLinux yeah nothing overnight but if it trends red for a while panic will set in to keep shareholders happy with all the capital spending they have been doing and less revenue coming in they have to do something drastic.

@BrodieOnLinux yeah but people what to see Micron get fucked up because they said screw the consumer we are all in AI data centers. So if their is a problem that leads to less data center/less demand for nand flash from them they have to do something to repair the consumer market to survive.

Whilst there are some fake sales being shared around what I think we're actually seeing happen to consumer RAM prices is the market is finally hitting what it can maximally bear. We're seeing a very minor correction in prices because basically no one is buying RAM anymore.
