There is no magic pill or injection that can make you loose fat/ weight permanently. I know this because I’m a former resident of the squad whose weight issues and tissues were permanently dependent on quick fixes. I hated exercising, I ate all the wrong foods and of course fixated on marketing .. From Thinz to Duromine to Reductill to Wohloza and even wiring my teeth ( highly disgusting) I was this huge fan. At some point I joined the biggest scam called Weighless and Sureslim. Weighless was about eating a 100 x meals a day that were super expensive ( a smart scam) .. You will carry 30 sxhaftins at work, eating around the clock and getting weighed weekly… Here, they even had their own brand of what you could consume ( just branding and nothing else) The admin put me off and I slipped off the wagon fast fast .. Then there was the latter .. Here, they would take your bloods 🙄 and then recommend your diet based on your ‘blood results’ This was high protein diet with no carbs.. Smh As soon as you go back to your normal eating routine, you are Tsekeleke in no time… Yoh! I must have exhausted all kinds of magical and miracle concoctions… One thing guaranteed is you gaining that weight back twice as much. Until I joined the gym in 2010 and never looked back. I also learned that you can’t outrun your fork… Today, I eat one meal a day , exercise, drink water , coffee and wine, climb the mountains and mind the illegal immigrants and my business

Shootout in Bloubergstrand at Marine Circle?

A 33-year-old man was shot and killed at a café in Marine Circle, Table View, Cape Town yesterday. Police believe it may have been a targeted attack. Table View police responded to reports of a shooting at about 2pm and found the victim lying on his stomach with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene. Preliminary information suggests the shooting was directed at a specific individual and was not a random attack. No patrons, staff members or bystanders were injured during the incident.
