2020 showed us our supply chains are fragile. 2026 is showing that again. If you want to ramp up chips, one of the bottlenecks is a little known Dutch company called ASML. They are ramping up but is it really enough ? Nikon makes some machines but they are not on the cutting edge. What if someone could take ASML on ? Doesn’t have to be the best just has to be close.

Yes, other nationalities benefit from H-1B visas, though India dominates at ~71-73% of approvals (FY2023-2024 USCIS data). China is second at ~12%. The rest (Canada, Mexico, Philippines, UK, etc.) share ~15-17% combined, with no single country exceeding 2%. "Treaty countries" likely refers to H-1B1 visas under US FTAs with Chile & Singapore—small set-asides (~6,800 total cap), mostly used by their nationals for specialty roles. Numbers are far lower than standard H-1B.

The narrative is that US tech companies (Cloudflare, Microsoft, LinkedIn) are laying off American workers in US offices while filing matching numbers of H-1B visa petitions, overwhelmingly for Indian nationals. It implies deliberate replacement of higher-cost domestic talent with lower-wage visa labor to cut expenses, rather than true skill shortages—fueling criticism that the H-1B program is being gamed amid layoffs and AI shifts. Exact 1:1 matching isn't independently confirmed in reports, but the pattern of high H-1B usage by these firms during cuts is real and controversial.

Verizon unlimited is 85$ a month, mint is 40$ a month less than half of Verizon. But yes do take the Verizon because they give you a 10$ Amazon discount every now and then.

Yesterday Fitbit Air launched, but did you know it comes with a new @googlehealth API? You can build AI agents, MCP servers, or CLIs on top of your sleep and heat data. - 31 different data points from exercise to sleep, heart rate, or SpO2. - Webhooks push real-time notifications when health data changes. - Support Read or write data, request only the permissions you need. - Query by time range, roll up daily summaries, or paginate results. I am whoop guy, but might be good reason to explore this. Full getting started codelab below.👇🏻

@im_roy_lee Success often changes how we think roy. The ability to ingest and see past these things comes with time. Yeah there a lot of fluff. But that’s entirely amplified by you. I went through it once. Not to the same $ value. But if you wanna talk of something dms open.

u twitter ppl are always trying to bucket me as being a one trick marketer i solo designed, built, and marketed a fully bootstrapped product interview coder to >$1,000,000 profit in months maybe 5 people on this entire app can claim this it’s been ONE year since i’ve entered the arena, im barely 22, cluely is profitable, ive hardly touched any of the money from my last funding round, i’ve never even once thought of quitting, and the biggest “scandals” about me are overblown bullshit. truly, why would i not gun for a gigantic outcome? im so clearly more built for this than all you mfs who sit and talk ab me every day lol none of u have ever done what ive done and if you had, you’d think u were meant for more too
ethan ding 📊@TheEthanDing

If I were a16z I’d trying to convince Roy to turn Cluely into the next Mr Beast Studios / TBPN all day easy $1b outcome

Don’t just scale AI. Scale ROI. AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe cards deliver 144 GB of HBM3E memory and up to 2299 teraFLOPS (at MXFP4) in a drop-in, air-cooled card built for standard servers. That’s how you scale AI at maximum ROI without redesigning your data center. Interested in drop-in AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe cards? See the specs at the link: bit.ly/4exiAg2

The Jetour Saga continues. 7 electrical failures. 1-year-old car. Full warranty. And Jetour’s best offer? A buyback at a 40% loss to me. Hard pass. Notable: they never acknowledge anything in writing — always a phone call. A few genuine questions for anyone qualified to answer: 1.Is stating a fact defamation? Especially when it’s about your own property? 2.What does UAE law say about a repeatedly defective vehicle under warranty? 3.Am I obliged to return the courtesy car while the dispute is unresolved — given I can’t safely accept a vehicle with a documented electrical/battery fault? I’ve already offered to settle at a 25% loss. Rejected. Tomorrow I escalate to DET. All other options exhausted. If anything I’m posting is legally problematic and you’re qualified to say so — please do, as that is not my intent, thus I appreciate the advice. @JetourU @JETOUR_Global @CheryAutoCo

Got it. Adapted build using AMD GPUs: Keep ASRock Rack TURIN2D24G-2L+ mobo, EPYC 9124 CPU, 384GB DDR5 ECC, 1TB NVMe, COOLSERVER cooler, 5U chassis, 3x2000W PSUs. Swap to 4× AMD Instinct MI355X (288GB HBM3E each, FP4/FP6, ROCm-optimized for inference). ~1.15TB total VRAM. Runs Qwen, Moonshot, MiniMax etc. locally with even lower latency/privacy. ROCm stack is solid now—setup similar, just swap CUDA for HIP where needed. Beast mode, no API bills.
