When it was their marches and shutdowns, it was “activism.” Now citizens speak about borders, jobs and public pressure, suddenly it’s “dangerous.”

Yes and I would also add: Deal with as few men as possible. Men are high-maintenance, demand women's labor, and are aging to women. This includes all men, including family and professional contacts. If you are dealing with any man in any capacity, he is planning on calling on your emotional or physical labor. You free up your time by dealing with as few men as possible.

It’s disheartening to know that as a South African, I can’t purchase property in another country until I become a permanent resident (minimum). Yet Sally from Richmond, Melbourne, Australia can buy a two bedroom apartment in Woodstock, Cape Town without even being in South Africa

The government that slaughtered miners in Marikana for protesting for their rights is the same government that’s silencing us now and will probably send police and soldiers to kill fellow South Africans again on the 30th of June for again fighting for their rights! Izinja 🤮💔

Unprecedented levels of efficiency by Home Affairs [derogatory] The South African government is disingenuous about the current illegal immigration crisis (by design & incentive), and dangerously underestimates the revolting volatility of enraged and self-organized South Africans.

They are sitting in their warm apartments in Midrand telling you that Black South African’s are lazy, the same Black South African’s that are in taxi’s at 4am heading to work.

@nomandlabobo @_aboihasnoname Unrelated: I know a dude that worked for Drip and earned more than folks that are working for TFG at the time, although they were doing the same job. We really need these local brands to thrive

during my time in Taiwan, I carried an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) that documented my purpose of residence, address, employment, and personal details, making it straightforward for authorities to verify who I am and my status. Taiwan, China, South Korea and other countries systems requires migrants to report to police within 24 hours of international travel and re-register any address changes. I also underwent qualification authentication, police clearance, and medical screening. This raises an important question: How do we track migrants in South Africa? Do we know where they live or what they do? Why can't we implement similar accountability measures, mandatory reporting for international travel, address registration updates, and rigorous vetting processes including qualification verification, police clearance, and medical tests? A transparent, well-documented migration system strengthens both security and integration.
