@NokiaLoopID @RODENT950 US gov only allow Qualcomm 4G for Huawei. Huawei stopped purchasing Qualcomm. If Huawei recovered Kirin, they can't purchase Qualcomm anymore because of US gov sanctions.

US aiming Huawei again, this time with a comprehensive ban, every US companies are prohibited from supplying anything to Huawei including 5G/4G chips wi-fi 6/7 chips etc. This and many other bans from US is against the WTO's free trade agreement. if (and when) it is approved.
