@LYousufzai2022 While, ruk/wruk is correct too. A better equivalent of the English's 'shutup' would be 'ghalay/chup sha'. Instead, 'Ruk sha' closely translates to 'get lost' in my opinion.

@LYousufzai2022 There's no grammatical neutral in Pashto. The last example you provided is of the imperfective aspect of imperative verb that stays the same for plurals of both gender. Its singular for both genders is rukega. Also, the first four are of perfective aspect of the imperative verb.

does the eastern iranic d -> l sound change still happen, I once had a pashtun friend who pronounced dupatta d̪ʊpəʈʈə as ləpəʈə. probably not, but funny to think about.

@avzaagzonunaada Also pax̌tín, poštún, päxtún, the last in your Pashto line most probably should also be poxtún.

Is it true that saying 'پوڑی - puṛi' as in حلوہ پوری is a contamination by Lahori Punjabis as this is what they usually do–change r to ṛ, and this particular pronunciation also spread to and became popular in other cities of Pakistan?
