@Powerchairgirl If you're well enough to go on holiday you're well enough to work & shouldn't need benefits.

@BlondedGohan Janel is partially to blame for this, she agreed to it. She had the chance to stand up and she sat down

@sergeenko_i @KeruboSk Of course. I’m highlighting a major quirk with it

HR announced that anyone who used their phone during work hours would lose 2% of their monthly bonus for every offense. A Gen Z coworker got caught five times in one week and lost 10%. He just nodded and said nothing.
Yesterday, the company Wi-Fi went down for three hours. Every manager kept asking him to use his phone hotspot to keep the office running. He did. Then he submitted an invoice for internet services with the note:

Last night, before bed, I watched @CodyRhodes and @TheRock’s editions of @CBeebiesHQ Bedtime Stories. Gigantic was inspiring, as was Rock and Roll, the latter was more comforting and reassuring. It was a healing and helpful experience. I may watch more, is this my new thing? 😄

@PenwellPro @PalmyrPar Ah ok that makes more sense now actually, so the black line is for Zero Sugar, got it, I think it’s a great redesign personally
English

@KhyleMedany @PalmyrPar I believe the one on the left is the old design, while the ones on the right are the new designs for both the classic and zero sugar versions, one with a very subtle black line and the zero sugar branding in silver

I’m sure that making Coke and Coke Zero almost identical at a glance will not get extremely annoying at all

@GuyofSpicy Everyone is on their phones these days during shopping and walking from store to store

@KhyleMedany The concept of being on your phone while buying cola zero

Remember when this shit used to be in an easy to spot pitch black can?
Yeah I'm sure making the text of all things black and now not even that is a brilliant marketing tactic
Then again, coke doesn't really have to try for marketing anyway

@Brangtz96 @JobberNationTV Oh be quiet Brandon, she wasn’t fumbled at all, she won basically everything
English

@JobberNationTV If true, WWE fumble her big time, since her called up.
How come you waste someone like her... And even now, when she even improved in ring, and was willing to put everyone over

Jason Sudeikis says Ted Lasso started as just a commercial for the Premier League before both NBC and Netflix passed on it, and Apple said yes
“NBC Sports got the rights for the Premier League back in 2013. An ad company came to me with five ideas. One was a football coach coaches soccer. This was like May of 2013”
“I was like, okay, can I bring two friends. They came over. We had the laptop open and just wrote out beats for ideas. We knew we were going to have two days. We were going to shoot it in London. It was one of those moments where I was just in a flow state”
“We go over there and make the commercial. It's a multi million dollar campaign. We did not write a script. We have no script. The ad company did, but we were only using little pieces of it. I came up with the name Ted Lasso. I was just like, what about Ted Lasso. I liked the idea of a first name and a noun”
“It was a little short film. It was three and a half minutes. It was just a commercial for the Premier League on NBC Sports. Here's a couple hundred grand to make this commercial. The commercial does so well with football fans, soccer fans, comedy people”
“Then we enjoyed doing it so much that we were like, hey, can we do another one. They said, yes, but we don't have the budget we had last year, so we can't fly you over there. The whole premise of the commercial is Ted Lasso gets hired by Tottenham Hotspur and then gets fired three days later because he doesn't know what he's doing”
“Then we did the second one. That's where the show idea came from. Ted gets hired, gets fired, but isn't mad at anybody. He falls in love with soccer, falls in love with London, and now he's living back in New York, waking up at 7 am to watch Premier League games, driving a Mini Cooper. All these silly jokes”
“We sit around for a week and wrote for three days. So many good ideas came out that in three days we had six episodes figured out. Joe had written a spit draft of the pilot, which was about 85% of what we ended up doing. That was 2015. Then it just sat there for years”
“Then it wasn’t until, Bill Lawrence had an idea for a show he wanted me to do that wasn't the right fit. I said, me and my friends have this. I handed him the stack, and he read it. Yeah, there's a lot of good ideas there”
“NBC passed on it. We went to all the people. NBC, Netflix. But it makes sense. Nobody knows, it's just an idea. And Apple was like, yeah, let's do it”

@lyleswontmiss Those iOS 7-iOS 10 signal dots were under appreciated

@RevyDown @jakeformers I don’t mind the rebrand, I loved Pepsi’s one a few years ago. I quite like Coke’s one, I do love a good rebrand though, other than X haha
English

@KhyleMedany @jakeformers Which is why changing the brand like this is stupid. It's already immediately recognizable.
English

I’m a little frustrated that the Zero Sugar keeps getting less and less distinct from the Original. Used to be I could go “Oh, black and red, that’s Zero” then it was “okay that’s red, but the cap and logo is black” and now it’s “You’re gonna need to find the ribbon”

@jakeformers Yep it’s in a black can here too, in the UK, and Europe in general
English

@KhyleMedany Here in the States our Pepsi Zero Sugar (which used to be called Max) is still in a black can.
