I started church when I was two weeks old, southern Baptist through and through, very religious family but not religious fanatics and we don’t judge people especially people of a different color, socioeconomic background, gender identity etc.. because that’s NOT what Jesus would do. I also believe in the separation of church and state and every pastor I’ve EVER had did/does because for instance, if you were a pastor would you want the government regulating what you do and making all your decisions for you? The thing about big evangelical preachers is they con people all over the world out of money so they have a lot and they donate to conservative campaigns because they help them avoid paying taxes on their income and so they can pretty much do whatever they want anyway because of their money being the donor base that helps run the conservative political machine. They are known to have so much money they sometimes don’t know what to do with it or even where all of it is going and they are also known to misuse it quite frequently. They are judgy to many groups of people and tend to put themselves on a pedestal, high above the rest of us. But can we really trust them or what they say to us?
