A helicopter pilot was awarded the MOH tonight at the SOTU. He stood, gripping a walker, you could see the pain of his recent wound and the reluctant pride on his face from receiving attention and affection he’ll never truly feel he deserves.
The contrast between that guy and you… well it’s a gulf wider than that divided aisle that kept you from being there to applaud him tonight. Probably for the best, I imagine you’d feel pretty foolish in his presence tonight.

Suspect in the Brown University shooting was found dead this evening of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. @FBI @ATFBoston @TheJusticeDept and our US Attorneys in Boston and Rhode Island did incredible work supporting local authorities in the investigation and this afternoon led the way in critical breakthroughs to identify the suspect. Most importantly - please continue praying for the families and friends of the victims in this horrific event.
