When I was writing my masters thesis, I knew Mau Mau was banned in the 50s. But I assumed of course after independence, they'd be unbanned. I decided to look up the date so I could cite it. Mau Mau was unbanned in 2003! by the Kibaki administration. I clearly remember screaming.

True... i was past 35 when i found out Kenyatta1 killed the remaining Mau Mau because they were also resisting his plunder of the land.

It says so much about your energy when children ignore you. Their elation is pure and can only be drawn to a high vibration. Macron, see yourself out.

The Mau Mau were one of the most significant anti-colonial movements in Africa. The Mau Mau influenced Pan-Africanists throughout the Diaspora including Malcolm X and the Rastas in Jamaica. This is an example of how interconnected our struggles have been.

UPDATE: NRM supporters in Mbarara City have boycotted a celebration event at Independence Park organized by the NRM office Mbarara city to mark President Museveni’s swearing-in ceremony after reportedly being informed that there would be no food and transport refund. The supporters had initially been expected to march from Mile 2 to Independence Park in celebration of the victory, but many reportedly declined to participate after learning there would be no food. #CroozeFMNews

82 years ago, on December 1st 1944, African soldiers who fought and bled to help defeat the Nazis were massacred by the French army at Thiaroye massacre after demanding the salary they were promised. They survived Hitler, only to be murdered by the empire they defended.

CS Murkomen owns a building that has collapsed while being contracted in Ololua Ngong Town. This was caused by shortcuts and corruption by the big man. 6 Workers of the Mjengo are missing and feared dead. Unfortunately nothing will be done and this is only being reported in WhatsApp and Facebook groups in the Ngong area. Deapest condolences to these families that will never get justice. Next year's election is becoming more important than ever
