Habibi, the people around her probably have more sleepless nights than she does at times like this. First, their jobs are on the line, without her, many would struggle to get another job that pays 20 per cent of what they earn. Also, given they got the jobs not entirely based on merit/qualifications, most would struggle to keep their jobs without her backing. I ams sure when she falls sick, many pray that God keeps her alive: not for her sake, or even that of her kids, but for their own sake. She is literally, their livelihood! So, when they see her in the morning, they probably thank God for the fact that she woke up that day. Then, there are the questions around accountability. From what @AgoraCFR exposed, it is obvious that most of her team, in trying to be as loyal as the sunrise to her, have questions to answer. Not that they took money for their own use per se - which is also possible - but that some monies taken in their name for her use raise serious accountability questions. Without her, many around her would probably end up in Luzira or Kitalya. Sometimes I want to sympathise with her, other times I want to sympathise with her team. Their work is mutually reinforcing in ways that they let each other down. To do things her way, she must be brazen - eg appointing people who don't meet the cut which is how they got the jobs she gave them, and she must also be daring in getting the monies to keep things happening for herself and her team. Yet, she somehow has the least qualified people to cover her tracks. They don't even try! Every minor crisis turns into a major PR disaster! In the end, despite all the money and a team that would fill Namboole, they can't do the work that four people should do with ease! Turns out quality still matter more than quantity. If she set out to be “classy”, her team is better described as [a UPE] “classroom” instead…
