Signing day for some, a family affair. Special moments today at West Ashley where Jacob Adams signs to kick for The Citadel like his dad did. Oceanside WR Will Virgilio signs to play for Colgate in Upstate NY, where both of his parents went to school.

Happy traditional National Signing Day to all who celebrate. Beginning the day at the alma mater as 2 members of @WA_WildcatsFB are signing with The Citadel. Little do these student athletes know they are sharing the same stage where I performed in drama. @WCBD

I need kickers opinions here. It looks like the ball is angled to the left (bad hold for kickers. Anyone else seeing this or am I looking too hard

@Shaynegraham17 Never understood why people go flying across the ball on kickoff rather than down the field. Good stuff

A Big problem with many young kickers on kickoffs. A wide angle takes away from linear power and directional control. The tendency coming from the soccer field to kicking a football is to swing across your body. I see too many kickers really wide in their approach and yet they still kick the ball back to the left with the right foot. Notice how NFL kickers when they’re kicking the ball to the right are still not even as wide as some young kids are that are just blindly kicking the ball down the field, and more than likely expecting to pull it to the left. Then when they land on their follow through, they continue to trip over themselves for several steps because their swing is counterproductive to their bodies momentum
