Remember when I said that y’all use cinematography too much to gauge the quality of a whole movie, despite not really knowing how to judge whether something is good cinematography or not? This is what I meant. Spider-Man Brand New Day at its best has similar visuals to Supergirl but with a blue color grading over browns and reds.
If you want to play sides and go all in on Marvel, that’s perfectly fine. But you don’t look like you know what you’re talking about when you praise the way Spider-Man looks and then say Supergirl looks like a 6/10. Especially when Supergirl is technically better lit and composited.

I look at Avengers Doomsday and Spider-Man Brand New Day and then I look at Supergirl and just sigh, the difference in quality is depressing, Supergirl will probably be an inoffensive mid/generic 6/10 movie, but it could’ve been so much more.

@Rebel0fReality Supergirl looks A LOT closer to Thunderbolts, which had excellent cinematography. I'm excited for BND, but I'm not gonna complain about the way it looks until the final product, cause some of that stuff definitely looks unfinished VFX.

@tashaspams10 It was SO good. It creates this weird unease where you wonder "what an odd acting/framing/editing choice" because there's zero indication to us the audience that it's about to flip to that, and then it does and you realize why the face. It's so much cooler than a jump scare.

@LandonBurris @le_ni99 @Jfcdoomblade Don't know what podunk theater you apparently work at, but Mando & Grogu is absolutely more packed than Super Mario Galaxy at all standard theaters be for serious lol. Majority of cinemas aren't even PLAYING Mario anymore or might just have 1 showing a day.

@le_ni99 @Jfcdoomblade I work at a theater, showings aren't doing more than 20-30 a showtime. Older films with less showtimes like MICHAEL, SHEEP DETECTIVES, SUPER MARIO GALAXY are all eating its lunch.
