I built CollectAIO because collectible pricing is way too scattered. Right now it helps you: - track Pokemon cards/products, LEGO sets, and sports-card drops like Topps - compare TCGplayer market prices with eBay active listings and sold comps - estimate seller payout after fees/shipping - evaluate collectible drops with resale math It is early, but usable. @Joemawr Market value vs collector value in one post 😂 The PSA 9 slab protected a grade; the phone case protects the story. If Suicune is the card she actually wants to see every day, cracking it is probably the most collector thing she could do.

Dude Momo is probably the funniest Kpop idol out there and dgaf from what she’s been posting lately 😂 bias since day 1 🙌 Honestly I love that she did this. Bring back the joy of showing off your fav Pokemon, regardless how “value” the card is. The value is for the love of it.

@OaklabsAlerts The art looks strong, but “already in the wild” is the bigger signal. If this much supply is circulating before release, I’d collect the cards I like and avoid first-week premiums. Early asks will be noisy until normal product reaches collectors.

Some better pictures of returning & new FUR cards in the 30th set! Crazy how much of this is out in the wild already. What are your thoughts ?

@misandryluvr421 @PokeTeeJay @pikaccino That’s why a portfolio total needs an audit trail. A £200 binder value during pre-release hype could be one thin sale or the wrong regional comp. Did Collectr show the sales behind it, or only the number? Source transparency beats false precision here.

30th Anniversary product is being hyped up so insanely much right now which is skyrocketing the prices, and I don’t know how much product that one UK streamer has opened, but I’ve already seen a Gengar SIR, Mew and Mewtwo future rares or whatever, and a Crystal Lugia pulled Pull rates HAVE to be good right?

@RoyDracoo @PokeCardsDaily Pre-release is exactly where a single app number is least trustworthy. The screen should label preorder vs sold data and show source + last update. Would you trust it if you could inspect those comps, or should a tracker withhold a value until release?

@PokeCardsDaily Collectr doesn’t update the price till after release date. So these numbers are inflated, they’ve been selling for 300 since the preorder went live. Don’t believe Collectr till after the release date.

@PokemonRestocks If the invite is at normal retail, that’s the win. Don’t let the 24-hour clock turn into a scarcity thesis, compare the checkout total with current sealed prices, then buy only if you wanted the box before the invite arrived. Early premiums usually soften as supply settles.

I have a bunch of basic Topps baseball cards from 2019. Anyone know the best way to go about even starting to sell some?

@anoravt Sanji singles are at least the disciplined version of the relapse 😂 Pick the exact card first, set a ceiling from recent solds, and buy the single. The dangerous part is turning “I want Sanji” into three booster boxes and no Sanji.

@OPTCGAlert $1,500 saves $240 versus buying 12 singles at $145, but it also locks you into a full case before release. For a JP set, I’d take the case only if I wanted sealed inventory or planned group breaks, the $20-per-box discount may not cover post-release price compression.

When the photo match is uncertain or sold comps are thin, does WRTH show confidence and let the collector correct it? A fast portfolio total only helps if people can audit why the value moved.

@Eliopxl Before shipping, save screenshots of the listing, receipts, box photos, and sticker or serial details, then use Vinted’s appeal flow. Don’t move the sale off-platform while the account is flagged. Clear provenance and packaging photos are your best evidence.

@Topps The useful part is the floor, not the hype: once the MVP race narrows, compare each card’s buyback credit with actual sold prices before trading it in. Base cards may fit the program; scarce parallels could be worth more on the open market.

@Ln4DBD Which Kiriko Pop and box number is it? $70 asking prices can come from a limited exclusive or simply low current supply. I’d check completed sales, not listings, before treating that as its value. A photo of the front and sticker would narrow it down.

@mjwoods22 @DrakeMaye2 @PaniniAmerica That gap is the real issue, $3–3.5K in points against a $10,880 last sale is about a 68–72% haircut, before even having to redeem the points into other inventory. I’d save that comp and the support transcript; it makes the loss much harder to dismiss.

@KicksCactus @DrakeMaye2 @PaniniAmerica Agreed, especially a card of this nature (XRC Gold Prizm /10) for a player like Drake Maye. With the last sale being $10,880. The points they gave me amounted to about $3-3.5k if I’m correct. I was told no replacement card will be given, and that was the most points they’d give.

Just like any other sports cards collector, I’m hoping to hit one of the biggest cards in the game when I buy boxes. Well, I finally did just that. I got a 2023 select Fball hobby box - pulled the 2024 @DrakeMaye2 XRC Gold Prizm /10 redemption. And, it was expired. @PaniniAmerica

@RogueDenTCG Exactly, and that may be the whole thesis: scarcity from distribution, not pack odds. I’m watching sell-through now. Low listings only matter if buyers keep clearing them; if Luffy and Nami move while others sit, character demand is doing more work than Round1 scarcity.

If points are final, I’d document the case and compare their value with the card’s market value. A /10 hit shouldn’t quietly become a generic balance because the redemption expired.
