INSANE random connection here. Trevor Hudgins is perhaps the best player Ben McCullom has ever coached. The duo produced three DII National Titles, and Hudgins was 2x DII National Player of the Year. Hudgins grew up in Manhattan, Kansas. His third grade teacher? Brad Underwood's wife. Ecstatic for Miami. The system we have doesn’t reward a 31-1 “little guy” team enough to be in the round of 64 and STILL makes them prove it. Insane how people discredited them & now they all look real silly. Awesome team, I know they want more - onto the next.

@ryanhammer09 Rule of emphasis for sure...Need to start enforcing it. Unless they are wanting to do away with the rule and under say 10 seconds, the refs will always stop the game to check the clock, which I really hate.

The rules of the game state this should be a tech for running on court early in all of these. Now we (+ refs) are also all human beings & understand emotions. But it still stops anything from happening the next play. Think the NCAA should visit this in the offseason & come away with some harder lines for next year. Until the buzzer goes off, stay OFF the court. Sean Miller almost strangled his assistant last night & rightfully so. Players get excited I get it more than one coach running on the floor lol

My FAVORITE conference tournament every year... the beautiful Arch Madness in the MVC. Elite quality ball, good tradition & great coaches. MVC teams are 13-4 in first round NCAAT games since 2012 which is insane. The favorite: Belmont - #1 in eFG% & #2 in 3 pt% in the nation. Tyler Lundblade one of the best shooters around, Jack Smiley the freshmen has been awesome with McClain injury. Likely no chance at large bid anymore. Bradley has the best player in Jaquan Johnson internally developed as part of last year's runner up + Brian Wardle is a great coach. Illinois State been hot & cold but Chase Walker + Johnny Kinziger & they just took down Belmont. LOVE Murray State. They can compete with power teams. Power talent & athleticism, Ryan Miller a strong 1st year HC. Roman Domon the French freshman wing has legit NBA upside he is awesome. UNI the deep sleeper. Allowing 61.4 ppg (1st in nation) with ben Jacobsen who has been there forever. The pick is Belmont, but if I could take Belmont vs the field, I would take the field with this many quality teams

@ryanhammer09 This might be the toughest decision I’ve ever come across 😭. What Bennett Stirtz has done in Iowa is straight up remarkable. Not just an offensive guy, but is tasked a lot of the times to guard the opposing team’s best player. Fleming is so fun to watch, but I couldn’t choose 1.
