@busch10 Not saying it’s necessarily his fault. But like always Skinner is getting 100% of the blame for a loss that shouldn’t be on him. Oilers play 17mins of good hockey last night. He made an aggressive decision with 1.5secs on the clock that should not have led to a goal. Bad bounce.

@KiddWatts17 I disagree. Leon doesn’t deserve flack here. If Stu hugs his post it goes to OT. Leon has the knee jerk reaction to try and stop the shot because his goalie decided to go explore. Tough break with it going off him but he shouldn’t be the only oilers player in the crease ever lol

@busch10 Head and shoulders better. He’s been a consistent AHL quality defender with NHL offence. He limited his shin pad hits which was a bonus and he had some back checking prowess. Depth was huge last night and the big bodies used them effectively. Key saves from Pickard. He looks good

Bouch was leagues better last night. Still not polished defensively, still some mistakes but better. Effort was iffy at times, but better. Offensively he’s never struggled but also, last night though. I think McDrai were done being koi and probably ripped him apart. Without Ekholm he has become exposed, nice to see him use it as a weapon and not a crutch for once

At what point do they make some changes? Defensive break downs, lack of effort to recover, giveaways and a powerplay that can't sustain pressure... #nhlplayoffs2025 #Oilers

@busch10 I really don't understand the roster decisions. Brought Skinner in to be a top 6 guy. He plays the defensive side of the puck exceptionally, and he is a goal scorer. Skinner - McDavid - Hyman. give it 5 games.

Knob is a joke. Trade savoie at this point for someone he’ll use. Savoie and skinner should be seeing no less than 14 min a game
