This will be a tweet about myself, competing and teammates. I have Never really made a tweet like this, where I type out my thoughts, so if you are not interested in this kind of stuff, you can skip this tweet. Before I took my gap year, I always wondered: What if I take this gap year? What if I make it far in Valorant? What if I don't make it to the top? Since I am still pretty young, I wanted to try this kind of opportunity out and took that gap year to see what esports could bring me and to answer these never ending what if questions. I started competing around 2021 when I turned 16 and still did until yesterday, but I have come to a realisation that there are other things in life that are going to take a more important role in the next upcoming months/years for me that I should start focusing on like university for example. This gap year gave me a good insight into what I really want and answered a lot of my questions. I still enjoy competing, but in the current state of t2/t3 Valorant, it is just to difficult grind the game fulltime without having the financial support that many orgs struggle with. The urge to try for one more year is big, but I have to be realistic with myself and most important, not lie to myself about the chances of making it to the top. I have made a lot of friends over the years, and I appreciate you all. Whether we were teammates and having fun on the server or just met through ranked to play from time to time, those moments meant a lot to me. Some of you I still speak daily and others from time to time, but I really appreciate the conversations we have had over time.❤️ I am truly happy I met a lot of nice people along the way, and that I learned so much about myself that I wouldn't have learned if I hadn't taken this path So this is kind of the end of competing in Valorant for me. Maybe you will see me sub in or just play some ranked, but I don't think I will ever return to a main roster. In the meantime, I will just enjoy the next couple of months of free time until September, when the next university year starts again. Whoever read till this point, thank you for your time.🫂
