@ABDanielleSmith Imagine if the amount of effort you put into supporting federalism was put into you know..... Alberta instead of endless gaslighting that Alberta had gotten a great deal?

BREAKING NEWS - ALERT 🚨 I just spoke with a friend who is the CEO of a major western producer of oil and gas. (Yes I have friends) He advised me that his team have already advised him that the so called 95.00 Carbon Price will add 7.00 to 10.00 a barrel to the cost of production regardless of the market price of oil. The reason for this is that Danielle’s team got played for chumps by Carney because along with the 5.00 increase in the industrial carbon tax, they stupidly agreed to closing numerous carbon credit loopholes that kept the burden of the Industrial Carbon Tax manageable from a cost of production perspective. This does not include the costs of “decarbonization”/carbon sucking for major expansions which will drive away capital investment. Homegrown Alberta Producers are actually looking at investments in Venezuela rather than Alberta because cost of production as well as Dani’s failure to rein in the proliferation bureaucratic regulation is driving Alberta and Saskatchewan producers to look elsewhere to invest capital. The consensus in the Industry is that Danielle, Rob Anderson, Brian Jean and her entire team don’t have a clue as to what they are doing and are constantly being made to look like rubes by Mark Carney. All of @ABDanielleSmith ‘s “taxsplaining” won’t fix this. Industry leaders are privately musing about whether her entire government has hit its “Best Before” date.

☑️ A major new pipeline moving Alberta energy to world markets ☑️ Massive reductions to the Trudeau-era industrial carbon tax increases that threatened jobs and investment This is what happens when Alberta stands strong and fights for our economy, our workers, and our future.

The more certain the rules, the closer we get to a new pipeline to the west coast. Great sign from Enbridge’s CEO following the signing of yesterday’s implementation agreement with Canada. Read full article here: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Here's the official list of Danielle Smith's 9 key demands (often called the "nine bad laws" or ultimatum) from her March 20, 2025 statement after meeting PM Mark Carney: 1) Guaranteeing Alberta full access to unfettered oil and gas corridors to the north, east, and west 2) Repealing Bill C-69 (aka the “no new pipelines act”) 3) Lifting the tanker ban off the B.C. coast 4) Eliminating the oil and gas emissions cap (described as a production cap) 5) Scrapping the so-called Clean Electricity Regulations 6) Ending the prohibition on single-use plastics 7) Abandoning the net-zero car mandate 8) Returning oversight of the industrial carbon tax to the provinces 9) Halting the federal censorship of energy companies A year later, 1 many 2 of these have been addressed. But new regulations have been implemented, and I'd say Alberta is worse off now than a year ago. Carney is playing her, and she's willingly going along.

@ABDanielleSmith Your being strung along and actively working on the federal governments behalf even though you are elected by the people of Alberta for Albertas interests. This by no means a "win". Referendum now or you tank your political career and the UCP indefinitely.

When Alberta stands strong, Ottawa listens. Our province is on track to double our energy production in the coming years, beginning with the pipeline to the West Coast that will move more than 1 million additional barrels of Alberta oil per day to new markets— with construction targets as early as September 2027. We have also successfully pushed back on harmful federal policies by securing an elimination on the oil and gas production cap, stopping net-zero power regulations from being imposed on Alberta, ensuring Alberta companies are no longer censored under "greenwashing" provisions, and reducing severe, planned increases to the Trudeau-era industrial carbon tax. These are big wins for Alberta workers, families, and our economy. See more from today’s announcement: alberta.ca/release.cfm?xI…

Centralized governments inevitably lead toward core Marxism. Taxation and regulation rise and become the seed of corruption. In Canada, regional economic differences are exactly why centralized governments always overstep their authority. Alberta's separation is INEVITABLE.
Ryan Gerritsen🇨🇦🇳🇱@ryangerritsen

In Alberta a single judge has just basically tossed out the separatist petition of over 300,000 signatures. Danelle Smith says that they will be appealing it as she believes there has been “an error in law” and it’s anti-democratic. This is going to get ugly.

This is exactly why I support Alberta independence. The moment Albertans start seriously pushing for independence, suddenly democracy comes with conditions attached. We’re told we can only vote on approved topics. We can only petition when Ottawa approves. We can only exercise democracy when the outcome protects the existing power structure. That doesn’t weaken my resolve. It hardens it. I will not give up. In fact, the court decision against Alberta independence has only convinced me that I need to work harder! Let’s GO!
