@KilluaSoo
I argue with dummies online for fun

If gaming was always a male hobby, then what exactly was I doing for the last 30+ years? If a man plays video games, it's a hobby. If a woman plays video games, what is it? A job? Community service? Was I performing unauthorized access to joy? Do you see how goofy you sound?

@ToomiYuna Actually it's like saying you can be a fan of a book by listening to an audio book, which is absolutely true and was settled a while ago in the literature community. It's actually quite funny that you would make this comparison when it goes against your point so much.

Lots of federal agents saying you can be a fan of a video game without playing it and then calling you classist and ableist when you laugh at them as a distraction from the actual issues

Genuinely what is up with the rise of gaming elitists recently. Such a miserable point of view to have if you have to police whether someone is a fan of a game because they watched a playthrough over playing the game+

many reasons 1. accessibility 1a. money 1b. age 1c. platform/device 1d. region 1e. game is not on market 2. enjoyment 2a. game is more story than gameplay 2b. gameplay is lackluster/not necessary 3. previewing before buying 4. etc who are you to be policing?

@BringBackBanjoK It's a preference. Some people turn off all audio when they play games. I think that's weird but it's the way they prefer to experience it. Imagine claiming a deaf person couldn't be a fan of movies because they can't fully experience it without the audio.
