How I really feel about AEW:
- Darby's reign was perfect and it was one of the best in AEW history
- Mox/Ospreay story is the best #realcinema
- Omega has been booked perfectly
- Women's division is cooking
- Owen Cup is super unpredictable
- love all the new young stars
- attendance and ratings are great
- All In ticket sales are fine...50k by August no problem

AEW has 0 homegrown stars that they built up from scratch
They don’t have a Roman Charlotte LIV Alexa (Oba Bron Tiffany etc)
As a guy who didn’t watch much wrestles outdid of WWE pre AEW , even I knew hanger

Everything Will Ospreay has tweeted recently is based on the assumption that AEW has been successful at making new stars while NJPW hasn't. So who are these homegrown AEW stars? Not people who made their name elsewhere. Not good wrestlers. Not fan favorites. Actual stars. Main event level talent who draw viewers, who put asses in seats, and make the company money. Hangman is one. MJF is another. Toni Storm and Swerve I'll accept. Who else?

Smackdown did 1.04M/0.20 in 18-49 against a World Cup game that did 18.04 million viewers on network TV. It was second on cable behind the College World Series on ESPN. Collision did 364,000/0.04 against the final game of the NBA series that did 24.54 million and a 7.07 (64 percent of people 18-49 watching TV were wathing the NBA game). I wouldn't weaponize those numbers on either side, anyone who does is trying to fool you into a sky is falling when this is just what happens when competition is so tough.
