One of them was out on monitoring when he shot and killed a police officer and injured another during an armed robbery last month. The Cook County State’s Attorney actually said the quiet part out loud: “Current safeguards fall short, especially when electronic monitoring is available for those charged with heinous crimes.” No kidding.

Law enforcement officials worked together to get Wualter Jesus Travieso Soto, 30, from Texas to Montana, where he faces charges for allegedly raping a child in his care multiple times. 🔎Travieso is an illegal alien from Venezuela, so ICE issued a detainer against him. ICE officers will work with Montana officials to ensure he ends up in ICE custody instead of back in the community after justice is served on this case.

ICE arrested Walvin Victor Hugo Garcia, of Guatelmala, after his first appearance before a Fairfax County court where he is facing multiple charges related to raping a child under 13-years-old. ICE lodged a detainer with the county asking that he not be released back into the public, but rather released into ICE custody pending his trial. ➡️Due to sanctuary policies, the county refused to honor our detainer and released him into the community to await trial, despite the fact that he is an illegal alien with a final order of removal.
