There will be children who require significant support to attend school, where the very idea has become insurmountable. I am optimistic that those children just don’t know where they belong yet but that there’s a brilliant teacher looking out for them. 🧵

🧵 on making school a compelling place to be: I rarely speak about the fact that I was a school refuser. I found it difficult to attend for many reasons, that, given the opportunity, I opted out of doing so.

20 yrs ago, an all-through school in N’pton was opened & I was lucky to be a part of the founding team. I am in constant awe of our indomitable leader, Tony. He recruited a bunch of people who still keep in touch & all hold dear the special memories of a unique experience 💕
