The protective gear meant to shield hospital workers from radiation is now under voluntary recall ⚠️ Cath lab healthcare workers help doctors perform life-saving heart procedures every day. ❤️‍🩹 But many face cancer risks and serious spinal injuries from years of radiation exposure and the heavy protective gear they wear. @CarineWerner is working to give these healthcare workers better tools and stronger protections. But lobbyists for hospital systems are pushing back rather than investing in their employees’ safety. Watch highlights from this week's press conference with Senators Werner, @AZSenatorShamp and @SenatorAngius 🎥 Watch the full press conference here: youtube.com/watch?v=zANiq5…

This is an absolute lie. Only the people who buy the specialty plate end up paying a little extra that goes to @TPUSA - NOT taxpayer dollars. If you don’t want to send money to the org, don’t buy the plate. This specialty plate model has been in place for decades.

I’ve asked @Caitlin_Sievers to run a correction. I have no idea why @brahmresnik is blankly regurgitating misinformation. The claim that this legislation “sends taxpayer dollars” anywhere is flatly false. SB 1439 does not spend a single dollar of taxpayer money. It creates an OPTIONAL specialty license plate that Arizonans may choose to purchase, just like dozens of other plates already on the road. The program is funded entirely by voluntary fees paid by drivers who opt in, and it even requires a private upfront payment before the plate can exist at all. Calling voluntary specialty plate donations “taxpayer dollars” isn’t a small mistake. It fundamentally misleads readers about what the bill actually does. Labeling voluntary specialty plate fees as “taxpayer dollars” is either a failure to read the bill or a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. Arizonans deserve facts, not activist headlines disguised as reporting.

🚨Following the resignation of Governor Hobbs' Medicaid Director this week, our priority remains the same: making sure AHCCCS is accountable and functioning properly for the people who rely on it. Oversight continues. Reforms are moving forward. Learn more from @CarineWerner. Watch ⬇️

🎙️ICYMI: Majority Leader @JohnKavanagh_AZ joined 12 News Sunday Square Off to discuss his resolution SR 1036 — passed by the Senate last week, calling on AG Mayes to resign after her comments suggesting the use of deadly force against law enforcement.

This is what passes for “journalism” now. A so-called reporter telling people to default to recording federal law enforcement, based not on current facts or verified patterns in Arizona, but by stringing together isolated incidents and turning them into a broad assumption. That’s not reporting. That’s narrative building. Every large agency has individual encounters worth examining. That doesn’t justify encouraging the public to treat routine law enforcement activity as inherently suspect. Accountability is explained with facts and context. Activism starts when anecdotes replace evidence. This isn’t about keeping government honest. It’s about feeding distrust, driving engagement, and calling it journalism.

📢 LISTEN UP. After Governor Hobbs vetoed a $1.1 billion tax cut, @JDMesnard went on KTAR and didn’t mince words. More vetoes. Higher costs. Arizona families lose again. 🎧Hear his full interview here ⬇️ youtube.com/watch?v=lqEBon…

❌💰 VETOED. Governor Katie Hobbs killed SB 1106 — a $1.1 billion tax cut for Arizona families, seniors, and small business owners. Instead of relief, Hobbs chose chaos and higher taxes. This is a slap in the face to the hardworking Arizonans counting on that tax return to help make ends meet. @JDMesnard

💰$1.1 billion back to Arizona taxpayers… if Governor Hobbs does her part. Senate & House Republicans passed a major tax cut today to lower the cost of living and put more money back in the pockets of working class families, seniors, and small business owners. The Legislature is delivering. The next move is the governor’s. Sign the tax cut! Full press conference: youtu.be/afT_nupTsts @votewarren @JDMesnard

We have the votes! I am proud of my caucus for just passing one of the largest tax cuts in AZ history. Over 1B in tax relief to AZ taxpayers. Sadly all of the democrats voted no.

All Senate Democrats voted NO on: – Eliminating state income tax on tips and overtime – Increasing the child tax credit – New childcare tax deductions – Retirement tax relief for seniors – Letting working Arizonans keep more of what they earn The bill is now being considered in the House.
