@AmericanAir I never checked in, so I’m not sure how that happened. But we were told my one of your reps that if I wanted to sit with my family I had to purchase my seat. So $40 later that’s what I did. Are you going to reimburse the money I had to pay? It’s the least you can do.

@AmericanAir why do you want me to pay $39 for a seat in the same row that you just assigned my husband and kids to for free? I will NEVER fly your airline again, this trip has been a nightmare.

So @AmericanAir after canceling our flight why did you recommend our family show up at the airport the next day for a 6am flight only to spend all day on standby list after standby list for flights we never had a chance of actually getting on? At least be honest and realistic.

@AmericanAir We have asked about the bag multiple times we’ve heard “I’m not sure”, “it’s already at your final destination”, and “it’s sitting in a holding room and we can’t get it for you” oh and there’s seats, they just preferred or first class. So I’m pretty sure you’re just being cheap.

Man, @AmericanAir is strangely silent about their lack of good customer service and the fact that not one employee tells the same story. Also do you think someone could figure out where my checked bag is? My husbands diabetic supplies are kind of important.

Hey @AmericanAir I was just informed that even though I can purchase seats on a plane standing directly in front of your agent that she can’t switch my family of 6 to a flight with open seats to get my kids out of this airport. #noagenttellsthesamestory #yourcustomerservicesucks

Way to go @AmericanAir for stranding my daughters family of 6 in the DFW airport for multiple days when there are options available to get them to JAX - you would just have to use some of the vacant first class seats you have!

Seems strange to lay in my hotel room and listen to the sounds of planes taking off and landing when @AmericanAir cancelled my flight. Funny that they seem to be the only one affected by the light rain 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of my boys was called a “liberal” for wearing a mask at school by one of his friends. Reminded him we do what we do out of love/ respect, not some political agenda. Folks, our kids are picking up on our stereotyping and politicization of EVERYTHING. Let’s do better.
