Does God exist? Are the atheists right? Does it really make any difference? With billions of people more or less actively believing in one or more gods the question seems highly relevant. Considering the many people who are killed every year because of differing religious beliefs the question seems imperative. Despite billions of believers and countless religions of different kinds, each of which claim to have the final answer to questions relating to God’s will, the question of whether God really exists will probably never be finally resolved by objective and conclusive proof. It’s even more unlikely that there will ever be any objective and conclusive proof, that any one religion is the one and only “right” religion, with monopoly on the interpretation of God’s will. But why do we have religion in the first place? Religion cannot be for God’s sake. A divine creator of humanity, world and universe cannot seriously be affected by what any given person or even by what the totality of people on this little, insignificant planet in the wast universe does or believes. People in earlier times, believing that Earth was the centre of the universe, should of course be forgiven for believing that man’s actions were important to God. Modern man, knowing the true extend of the universe and the relative insignificance of Earth, cannot. Since our actions and beliefs here on Earth cannot have any significance but for ourselves, religion can only be for the sake of man. A question that remains is whether religions exist/are created for the ordinary people or exclusively for the sake of the people in power? It seems to me, that religions serve or can serve a purpose both for the ordinary people and for the people in power. Most of us are from an early age looking for answers and explanations to everything around us. In primitive societies religion serves as the fail proof provider of answers to all the questions which people have not yet found “real” answers to. Even to this day when science provides us with more and more answers, religion continues for many to provide the answers to some of the fundamental questions about life and death, for which there might never be found conclusive, nonreligious, scientific answers. Religion therefore serves or can serve a purpose for ordinary people. The authority of religious answers has probably at all times, and certainly in historical times, been used by some people in power to control the behaviour of the ordinary people. Many religions might even in reality have their origin as a tool for powerful members of societies to control weaker members. However, even though religion can be, and in some cases are or have been, used by people in power to control the behaviour of the general population of a given society, I think we might safely assume that many people, both ordinary and in power, are genuinely religious believers. Furthermore, it can probably also safely be assumed that most religious leaders are genuinely religious believers and not primarily interested in the power afforded by their religious positions. The fact that religion can be, and has been, used to control the behaviour of populations should therefore not in itself hold anyone from genuine religious belief. Strong religious belief can have a big positive impact on a person’s life. This can obviously lead to a desire to share one’s religious belief with others, who might find consolation and relief in the same religious belief. However, it must be kept in mind that each religion by its very nature of being a religion, must lay claim to the one and only truth about God. Furthermore, there’s probably not much hope that these differences will ever be settled by objective and conclusive proof. With the number of different religions there will therefore probably always be a risk that any one religion is entirely man-made and has no real divine connection. Even if we assume that a given religion is a truly divine religion, then there will still remain the risk that God is greater than any one religion and that more than one religion is a truly divine religion. For these reasons no matter how strong a believer a person is, and no matter how valid it might be to encourage others to share the same belief, there will always be a risk involved in forcing a specific religion on others. If God really exists, then it cannot be ruled out that God has communicated with more than one person, giving rise to more than one “true” religion. It can also not be ruled out that God looks unfavourably on anyone causing bodily harm to believers of other “true” religions, or for that matter other people in general, whether they happen to be a believer in a “true” religion or not. If God doesn’t exist at all, then the danger in forcing a religion on others is merely putting one’s own life and the life of others at risk for a cause that is less than divine. In this case there probably won’t be anyone else in the world, other than perhaps a few fellow believers, who would be sympathetic to the use of force. Which would in any case be completely void of any divine justification. Caution, therefore, must be advised before even contemplating forcing any one religious belief on others, no matter how strong one’s personal belief might be. Ironically God might not even be part of the equation, the important thing being faith itself. As it has been seen time and again, both historically and in modern times, a person suffering the worst of traumas and even death might happily endure these atrocities if the person has a strong belief in this being for the glory of God. Religious faith can be a great help in filling daily life with meaning as well as in dealing with some of life’s most difficult moments. This means that what matters ultimately might be the faith itself, not the religion. In this sense, any religion might be a “right” religion. This also means that atheists might be right about the fact that God doesn’t exist. But even if they are, they will still be losing out for not believing. If it’s the faith itself, as opposed to a specific religion, that is important, then clearly any religious belief and any religious tradition should be respected to the extent that people do not use religious belief or religious tradition as a pretext for coercion or for causing physical or psychological harm. Also, if it’s the faith itself, as opposed to a specific religion, that is important, then society can and should be organized without taking specific religious beliefs and traditions into account as long as all religious beliefs and traditions are in general respected within the legal limits of society.

Shia Islam is not a religion it’s an ideology The MeToo movement opened out eyes to the settings. It’s time for MeToo to be lifted up to the next level. It’s time to realize that Islam is not a religion, but just a sick, dominating and sex fixated, male dominated ideology. It’s time to realize that the Quran is not a religiøs text, but just the manifesto of violent criminal groupings following a sick, dominating and sex fixated, male dominated ideology who wish nothing but suffering and death to everyone who do not follow their specific interpretation of their ideology. It’s time to realize that Islam does not deserve the legal protection offered to true religions. Shia Islam is a murderish ideology which is at war the rest of the world. Shia Islam should made illegal and criminalised in every civilised country. To recognise Shia Islam as a religion is akin to recognising the Russian mafia as a religion.

Flashback: Muslim father films his daughter beheading her doll as a sacrifice for Allah (Islam’s god). Before the ritual, she warns Christians: “My sword has been sharpened to destroy you.” On a scale from 0 to 666, how violent is Islam?

t.co/2MVl4rfjz5 A senior Ayatollah in Iran has issued a clear Islamic ruling: Anyone who says they are not a Muslim must be beheaded. His exact words: “We will kill you, and we will kill you good.” This is straight from the highest religious authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Question: Is it “Islamophobic” to simply share their own words? Let the world hear it.

Video from Dehdasht, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province — one of the most fiercely anti-regime regions in Iran, deliberately neglected and crushed by the Islamic Republic for decades. Last night the people of Dehdasht poured into the streets and physically blocked the roads to stop IRGC forces racing toward the pilot’s location. With Iran’s air force practically obliterated, those streets were the only fast route the regime had left to attempt to stop the rescue operation. Reports from Dehdasht hospital say it is now packed wall-to-wall with wounded and dead IRGC troops and their sympathizers. Good riddance! This is the real face of the IRGC: a gang of armed thugs who are experts at beating, shooting and terrorizing unarmed civilians, but completely incompetent when they face real resistance or a professional military. Drones and missiles are just buttons pushed from a bunker — that part is easy. On the ground, where it actually counts, they are weak, disorganized and fragile. If a ground invasion ever comes to Iran, the IRGC will crumble faster than butter on a hot stove. The regime is rotting from within. The people are done waiting. #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #IranRevolution2026

@NiohBerg Of course the Islamic Terrorist regime are just terrorists. If people didn’t see it before (because they didn’t pay attention (myself included)), it certainly became plain obvious in January when they began to murder tens of thousands of peaceful protesters.

BREAKING: THE FIRST CITY HAS FALLEN. 🇮🇷🔥 To everyone who said regime change would never happen: LOOK AGAIN. It is happening. Right now. In the streets of Abdanan, the Iranian people have done the unthinkable. They have taken back their city. The local police didn’t just stop—they laid down their weapons and sided with the people. 🤝✊ Let’s be clear: This isn't the work of Trump. This isn't the work of Netanyahu. This isn't about foreign militaries. The regime’s Army, Navy, and Air Force have been gutted from the inside, and now the Iranian people are the ones who are armed, angry, and unstoppable. They aren't waiting for a savior—they are saving themselves. The streets are on fire. The old guard is crumbling. The people are rising to take back what was stolen from them decades ago. History is being written in blood and fire tonight. Abdanan was the first. It will not be the last. THE REVOLUTION IS HERE. Regime Change in progress.

Brother Rachid الأخ رشيد
Since I left Morocco in 2005, I have buried my family from a distance. My grandmother in 2008. My father in 2016. My brother in 2021. Each time, I was on the phone, sobbing, powerless, unable to stand by their graves. Not by choice, but because going back would mean arrest for my beliefs and for speaking them out loud. Today, @JJJuraid lost his mother. He can’t go to her funeral either. If he returns, he will be arrested. And yet many in the West keep lecturing the world about how Islam is tolerant and how sharia law is beautiful, they have no idea what it means to be exiled from your own family, to mourn through a screen, to choose between your freedom and your mother’s funeral. Wake up. These freedoms are not guaranteed. And there are forces that would strip them away, piece by piece, while you applaud in the name of “tolerance.
Dan Burmawi@DanBurmawy

I am enraged this morning. Our brother @JJJuraid lost his mom. He hasn’t seen her in years. Do you know why? Because he left Islam, because he called for a Sharia-free constitution, because he spoke out against jihadists. Jasem was sentenced to 16 years in prison and had to flee his country to save his life. He used to tell his mom every day that his pardon was being processed, he was lying to her every day. Now she is gone, and he can’t even be there for her. Jasem is not the only one. @BrotherRasheed has had the same experience. Even just among @IDICenter fellows, in addition to me, there are @M_S_khairallah, @al_alfadi, @IbnAlwarraq, @bulutuzay_, @Khaledhzakariah, @AlispeaksX, and others who haven’t seen their families in years. Thousands upon thousands of former Muslims have had to run for their lives from Islamic countries. Yet the useful idiots have the audacity to defend Islam simply because they hate Israel. Find me a single Jew who converted to Christianity and had to flee Israel for his life. You can’t. You’ll find them at the Wailing Wall trying to convert other Jews. Every one of those people who, to serve their agenda, brainwash audiences in the West is not only offensive to people like us, they are making the West vulnerable and allowing the same system we fled to infiltrate it. They are enemies of the West.

When religious leaders call for murder of non-believers, then whatever “God” they are claiming to speak on behalf of is not an almighty God, since they, by their actions limits the power of their almighty “God”. A truly almighty God would have the power to create more than one “true” religion. We, people, will never be able to fathom the greatness of a truly almighty God. And we should certainly never have the audacity to limit a truly almighty God’s powers by ruling out the possibility of this truly almighty God having given rise to more “true” religions than the one we personally subscribe to. Ergo any “religion” which calls for the murder of non-believers is nothing but an ideology of murders and cannot be considered a “true” religion.

If you remove pork from cafeterias, you’re not being respectful, you’re letting yourself be conquered. If you stop having or walking dogs, you’re not being respectful, you’re letting yourselves be conquered. If you let people block traffic and impact transit to pray, you’re not being respectful, you’re being conquered. When you let people new to your country break your laws, and you go light on them, you’re not being respectful, you’re being conquered. Respectful is acknowledging people’s right to eat the foods they want and practice the religion they choose and follow the traditions they want without hate or discrimination. Forcing every one else in your society to change to accommodate their demands? Thats being conquered. Our societies need to stop allowing themselves to be conquered. While they’re still able to stop it.

When you argue with Muslims about why you’re a Christian, don’t waste your time pointing to Muhammad’s sexual immorality or violent legacy. And don’t reduce Christianity to Jesus’ exemplary moral life. That’s not why we are Christians. We are not Christians because “our guy” was nicer than “their guy.” We are Christians because of the Gospel. What does that mean? It means Christianity isn’t primarily about ethics, rules, or examples. It is about sonship. Through Christ, we are adopted into God’s family. We cry, “Abba, Father.” Our relationship with God is rooted in love and secured by grace. Salvation is not earned; it is given. It is not transactional; it is relational, covenantal. It is not wages for service; it is a gift for faith. Islam can't offer this. Islam is transactional. The Muslim’s relationship to Allah is that of servant to master, slave to ruler, fearing punishment more than loving God.

Iran is the country. The Islamic Regime is not the country. It is, as far as I can tell, a terror organisation, which is holding the Iranian people hostage and killing anyone who opposes the regime in any kind of way. I don’t know much about the Regime’s ideology of Shia Islam, but from what little I have seen, it certainly seems like an ideology, which is focused on causing harm by dominating, hurting and killing any nonbelievers and any women who do not fully satisfy the demands of the men subscribing to the ideology. As for the US and Israel, there are certainly many things that they can be critized for. The US has fought many wars and interfered in many countries’ internal affairs. Along the years the US has, no doubt, committed many crimes. Few of which have been prosecuted. If the unjustified deaths amounts to millions, I don’t know. But it is certainly not unlikely. I understand from your profile that you are palestinian? Then I can certainly understand your dislike of Israel and their supporter, the US. The history of Israel is filled with suffering, both for the jews and for the palestinians. The actions of Israel since the attach on October 7th have been atrocious and from the outside they seem disproportionate. You would probably know better, but it certainly also seem like Hamas played an important in this first by committing the attack on October 7th and then by using civilian inhabitants of infrastructure like hospitals, schools and private apartment buildings as human shields. Isn’t Hamas financed by the Islamic regime in Iran and is it not just a faction of the Islamic regime in Iran? I hope that the Palestinians will find peace and prosperity soon. I cannot imagine that it will ever happen as long as Gaza is run by an organisation like Hama which is nothing but an extension of the Islamic regime in Iran which only wish to destroy. Peace and prosperity for the Palestinians can only happen on the basis of acceptance of the fact that Israel exists and has a right to exist. Otherwise it will just be perpetual war with Israel fighting for its own survival. A continuation of the last 80 years.

These are the only U.S. options with the Islamic Republic: ❌ Leave: IRGC rebuilds, retaliates, and chaos triggers migration and militias. Politically unsustainable. ❌ Strike + seize oil and Leave: Afghanistan 2.0. Long occupation, steady casualties, eventual withdrawal, instability remains. ❌ Limited deal (uranium + missiles) and Leave. Temporary fix. Iran shifts deeper toward China and Russia, long-term problem stays. ✅ TOTAL Regime change. (ONLY success solution) Remove top IRGC and the core suppression apparatus, then create conditions for internal change. People will come out. Future Iran will be: - A pro-peace Iran - End of terrorist proxies - Reduced reliance on costly NATO commitments - A major U.S. political and strategic win - Elimination of Israel’s primary regional adversary - A foundation for new alliances and geopolitical realignment - Stabilization of global energy markets - Removal of a major source of regional instability - Reduced risk of nuclear escalation - Economic opening of Iran to global markets - Strategic shift away from China/Russia influence - Stronger regional balance of power - Increased security for global trade routes - Restoration of deterrence credibility - Reduced long-term military spending in the region - A decisive break from decades of failed policy - Last not least, Iranians finally achieve their goal after 47 years of struggle US does not need europe.
