Homeless No More President Dr. Lila Anna Sauls and DEW Executive Director William Floyd cut the ceremonial ribbon at yesterday's opening, which was attended by community partners and public officials, including Mayor Daniel Rickenmann. Homeless No More's vital mission in the Midlands is to stabilize, shelter, and house vulnerable families, which aligns perfectly with the purpose of DEW's 150+ Connection Points across the state in providing career resources and hands-on support to jobseekers from all walks of life. This includes those with barriers to employment, such as a lack of transportation, internet access, or housing. Organizations wanting to follow Homeless No More's example and start a Connection Point computer lab at their locations can get started by visiting dew.sc.gov/connectionpoin…, while jobseekers can easily find their nearest Connection Point at scworks.org/centers.
