Dear God. I can’t believe this is our President and VP. We fucked up, ya’ll.

So many things happened last night. We launched our second book. And it was everything. The room was filled with incredible humans. Elana Afrika, our host, was phenomenal. She brought warmth, energy and just the right touch of magic to the night. Andrew captured every moment behind the lens. There was laughter. There were tears. The team at Exclusive Books Hyde Park showed us so much kindness. And people walked away with our book in their hands and in their hearts. Friends, @GoodThingsGuy is now officially in Exclusive Books across the entire country! But the most powerful moment of the night (for me) was when the Good Things Guy journos took to the stage. You see, what started as a simple idea all those years ago, just one person wanting to change the narrative… has grown into something far bigger than I could have ever imagined. It’s a movement. A force for good. We spoke about a lot while on stage but two things stuck with me. Elana said something that really hit home. The work we do at Good Things Guy is so incredibly important. The world feels heavy right now, with chaos, uncertainty and never-ending struggles. But the good news? The good things? That matters. Hope matters. Happiness matters. Good things matter. Light is needed now more than ever. And the stories we share… remind people that there’s still so much beauty, kindness and goodness in the world. The second is that Good Things Guy is so much bigger than just me. Sure, it may have started with me but today it’s a team of incredible humans. People who share my passion, my perspective and my absolute belief that good news can change the world. Andrew (jokingly) called us a bit cultish. And maybe we are. Because we’re obsessed with finding the light, changing the narrative and showing the world that good things are happening all around us. Maybe there’s a third thing here. No, absolutely, there is. None of this - none of any of it - would be possible without you. Every single person who reads, shares and believes in good news. You are the reason we do this. You are the reason this little idea turned into something so much bigger. So here’s my promise to you: If you keep coming back to find the good news, we’ll keep writing about it. We’ll keep searching for the light, the kindness and all the stories that remind us all why this world is still so beautiful. Because good things are happening my friends. Always. TikTok shares new statement saying they're in the process of restoring their service in the US.

STATEMENT FROM TIKTOK: In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service. We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive. It’s a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States.

I know we’ve all got to start somewhere but social media managers charging between £100-£500 per MONTH for strategy, content creation, analysis and management is a joke. And it’s part of the reason people don’t take social media management seriously. 🫠

The body corporate changed the rules of our complex. No kids allowed to play outside - wtf kinda rule is this? Kids need to go to the nearby park to play outside. I miss the sound of utter chaos outside. These poor kids are trapped inside like prisoners. Let the kids play.
