We’re headed in for Poppy’s surgery this morning. Expected to be a 5-6 hour procedure. She’s still sleeping so peacefully. I hate that I have to wake her up for this because she has no idea what is happening. Please say a prayer for our baby. Today is a pretty monumental day, but it’s not without risk.

@MomtoEandP I’m so sad your mom is going through this.

My beautiful and strong mom made the brave choice to not continue chemo today and to enter hospice care. The pain is too much for her and she is ready to be at peace. This picture is from over a year ago during a treatment and despite everything she has faced since then, she has always held on to her goofy personality. This is definitely going to hurt and I’m going to miss her so much when her time comes, but I’ll rejoice in the day she is no longer suffering everyday.

Poppy is on the mend. She’s really tired but she’s definitely getting better. Eden now has an ear infection, but she is running around after some drops in her ears, Tylenol, and lots of sleep. We are praying for a peaceful weekend 🙏🏻🤍

Another week another issue with Poppy’s meds 🙃 We were told one of her specialty meds that she has to have was shipping overnight Thursday to be here Friday. Well that didn’t happen for some reason and here we were yesterday with only one dose to give her. The pharmacy acted like they had no idea I requested this last week to avoid this problem. Long story short after contacting UVA and another specialty pharmacy, her medicine was flown in from Pittsburgh and arrived at our house at 11:45pm last night. I’m so grateful for the people who understand Poppy’s condition and know that she can’t go without. I wish these pharmacies and insurance companies would get it together!!

I just absolutely want a refund on 2024. Pipe burst and flooded my studio (was able to save the pianos, thank God.) Had to rip apart half my studio, floors, drywall, etc. So now I can't teach to make money to pay for the remodel bc the studio is torn apart. Like...why

Unfortunately, Poppy has had another bad episode. Her and Whitney are being life flighted to UVA hospital. Please keep them in your thoughts. Whitney has never flown so this is quite the experience for her.

Please keep my grandma in prayers! She has been at a rehab facility working to get strong enough to come back home after her recent illness. Unfortunately, last weekend, she developed an infection which has set her back to the point that this morning, she was transferred to the ER. They are treating her with antibiotics and fluids in hopes that once the infection is cleared she will return to herself again. At this time, the hospital is so full that there are no rooms upstairs, so she was admitted but will remain in an ER exam room until one is available. Please pray that one opens up soon, that the infection heals, and that her cognition is not impaired following this illness. Thanks!!!
