40 years ago today: Kenny Dalglish is presented with a special commemorative cap as he makes his 100th Scotland appearance against R(u)mania. Unfortunately he doesn’t score in a 3-0 win but not even the greatest coat I’ve ever seen (Beckenbauer) can take the spotlight off him.

@RamsayGolf The second time I ever played TOC was backwards, thoroughly enjoyed it. Forwards and backwards (and another 9 forwards) before my first Old Course bunker! Approach to 7th (11th) is a bit tricky as is the shot in to 12th &13th (6th & 5th).

The way he looked after @robert1lefty on Friday and fought as hard as anyone has ever fought for ½ a point. That fight wasn’t for him, he knew what it meant to Bob and the team, to get Bob a score.. to keep TeamUSA out.. How would we all have felt on Sunday without that ½ point?

@AndrewColtart Stunning and one of the best beaches in the world just behind. A few degrees warmer and the place would be full of tourists! The dunes beyond are just enormous. I remember walking them as a potential golf site a few years years back!
