@Trish1214126171 @SecVetAffairs @DeptVetAffairs That’s crazy all the hoops you have to go through. I guess the VA where we live has it going on better than your location. It’s a shame all locations don’t get their act together.

I have they can’t get me in until my voucher expires and I have to start all over again. I know how to get community care, my VA drops the ball every time, I drove three hours for an appointment and the VA called me while I was in the Parking Lot to tell me that it was not covered because my voucher expired, this has happened twice then rescheduled and the appointments are always 4 months out, I have asked to go to a neurologist in the VA they will not authorize it, please don’t tell me about community care I have tried everything

Under President Trump, @DeptVetAffairs will make sure Veterans get the health care choices they were promised in the MISSION Act.

@Trish1214126171 @SecVetAffairs @DeptVetAffairs You should request that community care set you up a Neurology appointment outside of the VA system. My husband sees one outside the VA. They discovered several service connected injuries that the VA just wanted to throw medicine at rather than discover what’s going on.

Yet I can’t get an appointment to see a neurologist because my VA doesn’t have one, been 4 years waiting for answers, I have given up, been treated like shit from someone that calls herself a doctor, I still am waiting for a diagnosis, 5 MRIs no answer on why I have this medical condition. I have no faith in you or the VA healthcare system.

New Hampshire is the only state in the contiguous United States without a full-service @DeptVetAffairs medical center. In response to President Trump’s executive order, we are developing a plan to ensure that is no longer the case.

That’s terrible. It sounds like you have a lot going on and the VA definitely should be stepping up and doing more. It’s so heartbreaking that they’re not. 100% service connected disability should automatically get prioritized with benefits and medical attention. I hope @SecVetAffairs sees this.

We are currently taking care of a young vet in a wheelchair chair but don't worry even though he is 100% service connected as well with no va care he gets 13 hours of care from va a week. Va still failing and breaking us.
