Very worthwhile petition. Amazon is full of very unsafe electrical items (likewise eBay), and whilst they might provide interesting fodder for Big Clive to tear apart on YouTube, they are often purchased by unwitting people thinking they're safe.

@wowstartsnow Book ordered. :D
Any other good similar books? I like computer industry history books, especially first-hand accounts.

@MrTimDunn @nickdunn They do look like wobbly bobbly squiggly jiggly dogs.

@CameronYardeJnr @DuncanNewmarch @russty_russ @BBCOne I seem to recall a lot of films being dubbed back in the early 90s at least. ITV did it quite a lot.
English

@KingDaveRa @DuncanNewmarch @russty_russ @BBCOne Did the same thing happen with Beverly Hills Cop? Ghostbusters topped Boxing Day 1987 with 16.45m. The Paul Daniels Show and Bergerac never stood a chance!
English

@DuncanNewmarch @russty_russ @BBCOne I miss the poorly dubbed movies of my youth. First time I saw National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, it was on mid afternoon on ITV. I watched that tape for years. Until I watched it late one night and realised how edited it was 😄
English

@russty_russ @BBCOne I knew that you’d know. The best film ever (Back to the Future) was a Christmas Day premiere with some of the worst audio dubbing to disguise the swearing.

WE NEED EVERY SINGLE FOLLOWER TO RT THIS
We have spotted something during Simon Thompson’s car crash interview on the BBC this morning.
Having zoomed in, someone is in the room writing answers on a board for him.
Pack your bags, Thompson. It’s time to go.

@CarlShillitoUK Ohh, so we'll get to see freight through Aylesbury again? Good to see anyway.
English

@KingDaveRa No, via Aylesbury. Track N of Quainton removed while HS2 works in progress, but route is protected for future link up with EWR.
English

HS2 uses rail freight to take extra 300,000 truck journeys off Bucks roads gloo.to/6NJu#.Y3HvKhnE… Welcome return of traffic to this section of the old Great Central route. Building #HS2.
