Latest stats show an incredible boom in cycling around the country🚴♀ with a 45% increase in bicycle traffic in 2020 compared to 2019 & 5 BILLION miles travelled by cyclists! Great to see so many people choose more active forms of travel as we continue to #BuildBackGreener✅

Here are nine drivers in single-occupancy private vehicles thinking it's an efficient and sensible choice for transporting a single human across a city.

Another safe cycle ride using the decades-old Mecklenburgh Street filter in Camden. It creates quiet streets by preventing through traffic from Gray’s Inn Road. But there were no protests or campaign posters, nor have I read any concerns about emergency service access. Why not?

@JoBussey @BhamCityCouncil KH LTN is a pilot. There are other smaller versions in Bournville etc. Govt is actively encouraging them and most importantly putting money behind them.

Pedestrianised York Road in the sunshine with places open is even better than expected. The absolute jewel in the crown of the #kingsheath Low Traffic Neighbourhood. Such a buzz last night. Let’s never go back to how it was before please
