We have installed a technical update for #EscapefromTarkov.
The game will not be stopped, but on updated servers, raid time may be reduced to 10 minutes. Please download the update via the launcher.
● Fixed a missing QTE progress indicator in the Gym module in Hideout;
● Several geometry changes were made to the Icebreaker location;
● Fixed a problem that could cause PMC softlock after reloading weapons.

Should I write a science fiction short story about a state that stops executing rapists, and starts executing their victims instead?
Or would that seem like a far-fetched soapbox of a story, an unbelievable strawman constructed by an overly-online racist author crashing out from internet self-radicalization?

In the West, we have certain percentages of every post WW2 generation who have spent their entire lives imagining themselves as "citizens of the world", or "citizens of the human race", believing that all distinctions between races, cultures, religions, and value systems were simply relics of a barbaric past, and that all peoples of the world could be thrown into one big happy melting pot.
Confronted with evidence that this is not so, over and over again, they have two choices: to become the opposite of everything they strove to be, or to kill the innocent.
For them, this is not a difficult choice.

It is sad to see PVP games like #ArcRaiders having stream sniping cheaters like this.
It's good, that they took action
It's bad, that big streamer needs to speak out for them to take action.
According to the OP the cheater has been there for months, stream sniping multiple streamers
But after big streamer speaks out they get banned immediately.
Similar case (or opposite case) happens in #EscapefromTarkov too.
Possible solutions (?)
1. Just block stream sniping in the first place, especially for big streamers. Intentionally match people with different people even though some try to match into target. Give it a bit longer matching time
2. Have some lookout dev. for BIG streamers, ofc they can't cover all streamers, but they can do for some big streamers.
- But, must use internal anti-cheat dev. tool tho, not ban just cuz streamer says so.
- Also, need proper dev. or paid worker who devs can fully trust (not me)
0. Just ban cheaters ... is obvious answer to this, and cheaters and dev. / cat & mouse chase is gonna be a thing forever anyways so i just repeat here for good old sake.
People will say just man up and move on, but i still think these kind of things need to be addressed and fixed.
Do write what you guys think will be possible solution
ps. playing PVE games is always option for non-streamers if you hate having cheaters in your game😅 no sarcasm

I've been asked many times about the new NVIDIA driver (591.74) released yesterday, so I did some basic testing tonight on #Tarkov with various settings.
This driver upgrades DLSS to 4.5 Super Resolution. You can't select it in Tarkov's settings yet, but using the NVIDIA app's DLSS Override with the "Latest" preset, this seems to fix the DLSS scope blur issue we've had all wipe.
I tested most scopes, though not all, and saw no issues.
I use DLSS Quality at 2560x1440 with most graphics settings on high or ultra.
There's no meaningful FPS change for me, but the game looks significantly better on my system with DLSS on vs off.
I only did basic testing. I'll run with it on and play around with settings all day tomorrow to give a final verdict.
Remember, as with most things in graphics settings, your mileage will vary.
