Because carbon dating dates material like wood that only tells us when the tree died. There are dozens of reasons as to why the dates don’t lign up perfectly. But let’s say that you are right and all the evidence that points to Khufu, such as papyri, inscriptions, surrounding tombs, graffiti, etc are all wrong. Are you now admitting that the Great Pyramid dates to the Old Kingdom period? Because that’s what you are now suggesting. And not thousands of years older by an advanced lost civilization?

They were off by 374 years, and the lead researcher was Mark Lehner himself. That was 1984.
