When Anas Sarwar's FM hopes go up in smoke next month, as they surely will, folk will wonder how someone with the whole media behind him for four years could fail so utterly. Here's why ... The SNP was dead and buried after Nicola Sturgeon resigned. Branchform and naïve political decisions had made sure of it. This is where Sarwar started to go wrong. Instead of crafting an image of himself as statesmanlike, accepting humility and willing to compromise, he became over-confident and began to gloat. He mistook the fawning behaviour of the anti-SNP media for public approval ... which he had yet to earn. Hubris took hold and with it a preponderance for smearing and arrogance. Bad decisions and scandals were glossed over by a friendly media. Gaffs and blunders suppressed. The impunity meant he never learned. Believing he could do no wrong and was destined to become FM, he grew rude and boorish when pressed on awkward issues. He aligned himself to Starmer for no good reason and became a hostage to fortune. The SNP was always going to recover. Sarwar however wasn't prepared. He has squandered years as he played FM in waiting to a friendly BritNat media who craved such a scenario. Look at Sarwar now. No principles. No policies. No dignity. An approval rating of minus twenty nine and falling. A legacy of gloating, smearing and lying. He was never FM material. Unfortunately for him, the public know it now.

In 2022 BBC Scotland ran a fake story claiming the contract won by Ferguson Marine to build the two ferries had been rigged. They then headlined attacks on the SNP by Anas Sarwar & Douglas Ross. What was never reported was that Unionists themselves had *demanded* Ferguson Marine be awarded the contract.

Lumping in vessels currently undergoing scheduled maintenance is pretty blatant propaganda. The 'Almost a third out of action' tabloid headline becomes almost a sixth. Two due back this week weakens the propaganda further. Tabloid exaggeration and misdirection.

When Michael Shanks was looking for votes he told voters he would "follow Scottish Labour policy because he'd be a Scottish Labour MP". As soon as he got elected he jettisoned this pledge and became a fully fledged House Jock, doing Starmer's bidding.

Anas Sarwar in recent weeks ... Rebuked by Lord Advocate for making misleading comments relating to a live case. Condemned by Fire Fighters for making misleading comments anout the Glasgow fire. Condemned by a stroke charity for a disgusting joke. If this was John Swinney it would be all over BBC Scotland and STV News. He'd be the subject of discussions with media commentators with his suitability as FM called into question. But it isn't Swinney. It's Sarwar.

Listen to this to the end! A spokesman for the Scottish Covid Bereaved was interviewed on Radio Scotland. He immediately seized the initiative and didn't allow Martin Geissler to steer him. When it becomes clear why, Geissler attempts to divert him but fails. The spokesman revealed that the Scottish Ambulance Service and at least one major Scottish Hospital wanted to use powered hoods during the pandemic. They were refused permission from a UK wide advisory group. This is a highly significant revelation. Geissler ignored it completely and tried to get the spokesman to criticise the cost of the Covid inquiry.

BBC Scotland News is compromised to a degree never before seen. It serves no positive purpose anymore. Most of its political news originates from BritNats, trade unions, think tanks or the disgruntled. Everything is either a smear, demand or complaint against or about the SNP. Nothing is off limits. SNP politicians have been accused of virtually every crime there is from manslaughter to using prostitutes. Lightweight magazine presenters parrot scripts they barely understand. Reporters taint political coverage with unnecessary partisan 'analysis'. It's a sewer, and each time you think standards can't get any lower ... they fall again.
