@arimukk @Obuchunju Kiswahili is both an official and national language and is not inferior to English.

@Obuchunju Acha hizo.. it's a national language let him use kwani hawataelewa?

Not sure whether MP Kuria Kimani on #JKL is sober, but hey, did he mistake Jeff for Lulu Hassan to speak in Swahili?
Dude looks like he was ambushed to appear on the program.

@citizentvkenya Kimani anaona watu wakiwa mafala. When VAT increment on fuel was increased from 8% to 16% the reason we were given was that they wanted to harmonize it with the other EAC countries. It was nothing to do with the nonsese Kimani is putting forth.

BREAKING:
EPRA reduces fuel prices
Engineer Edward Kinyua, Director Petroleum and Gas – EPRA: The prices we published yesterday were based on 13% VAT, which was a reduction of 3%. Today, as per the directive from his excellency, VAT has been reduced again from 13% to 8%, and that is why you have seen that press release which has just come out, reducing the price of petrol by Ksh 9.37 and reducing the price of diesel by 10 shillings to retail at Ksh 196. It will be effective from midnight today #JKLive

@ArapTilingi Not sanitization. That case was sensational and DCI did a very shoddy job. Some of these cases you need input of subject-area specialists before you go arresting people and maligning them.
English

😂😂😂 Another own goal. By Friday OMCs may obtain a court order challenging this new review given that it is in violation of s.6 of the VAT Act as well as the established fuel price review mechanism.
In the meantime let Kenyans continue enjoying the ongoing artificial shortage.
