Yeah, mostly agree. We’re all running on this AI treadmill thinking we’re special, that we all have some unique right to win, blablabla, while in reality everything has been commoditised, including creative endeavours. I don’t think the AI labs are winning either, especially the US ones. They’re spending enormous amounts of money with no proper business model, stickiness or clear differentiator. They’ll end up being eaten by the Chinese ones or simply consumed by the arms race. The only ones I see winning are those I’ve described a couple of times: people who specialise in asymmetric coups and surfing every possible wave, taking advantage of the currently artificially low price of tokens.
@levelsio Alternatively we can attempt to do things that used to take 100 person teams years.
